Here a beauty we saved yesterday. A very rare petrol griffin 2011 model 9-3 with the A20 engine as seen in@the NG 9-5 rather than a b207. This car has some great options like sunroof, 17” turbine alloys and Hirsch parts too 😍 safe to say it will be pampered and kept on the road.

Tried out fitting one of these ecu relocation kits yesterday for the 9-3's from 2003-2011 and have to say that we are impressed! I was sceptical at first but it's quite straight forward to do and significantly better overall that the standard Ecu heat shield kits that are sold online. We are so happy in fact that we plan to buy these in and offer them in house as our choice fix for hopefully stopping the b207 9-3 r I'd from failing. This kit moves the ecu from on top of the intake manifold and relocated it above the radiators with only a minor amount of wiring modification. We give it 10/10.

We are aware that our landline telephone number is currently down - 0121 772 1555. This is due to BT switching us over to digital and sadly making a mess of it in the process. We are hoping our telephones are back on within the next 24hours but realistically it sadly could be longer.

What a year it has been. To just get the latest copy of the Saab driver magazine and see your own car and a picture of some of the most important people in your world, all in one definitely makes you feel like you are doing something right. I am going to use this post to sign off for the year and say thank you to every one of you amazing people for helping, trusting and supporting me and our workshop with your car in 2025. We take nobody for granted and dream of building and repairing cars properly and to the best of our abilities and that dream is what helps me be the best dad to my son and daughter🫶🏼 thank you from myself and Ray. We wish everybody a great Christmas and wish you all the best of health and success for 2026. I know I’ve teased it a lot but I am promising we will be doing a big bbq, cars in our yard, family fun day as soon as we can in spring so stay tuned and keep on Saabing!

Well that wraps up a great weekend of show cars and having 3 generations of Bagnalls at the classic car show! I’m so grateful to the owners club for asking me to be a part of the club stand and share my 900 Carlsson! Also, anyone that knows me and the workshop likely knows that my dad, Ray was quite unwell earlier this year and spent a short while in hospital. Thankfully he has really bounced back and I so happy that we could all share this memory together as a family. Big love to all. Lastly, I cannot leave out my beautiful daughter and although she didn’t come to the show, she made sure she tried out the shirts and I couldn’t not add that photo in.
