Salaam & Hi All

1 year ago today our lives got turned upside, I thought I was going to lose my older brother. When the doctor was reading the long list of injuries to me I was numb.

But as I explained to the doctor “you do what you have to keep him alive, you don’t know my brother he is a strong guy with the heart of a lion” & Alhamdulillah with the prayers of my mum, family, relatives and friends he is here with us.

Simply….thank you to all for your support and kind words.

This will be last public update regarding paij/Imran, he is doing well and recovering still.

Never lose faith and never underestimate the power of prayers.

God bless you all & God bless the wonderful staff of the NHS

Salaam & Hi all. If you would like to meet up with Paij/Imran. We will be taking him to the unit Armoury road for 1 today. He will probably be there for max 1 hour, but it may be shorter

Insha Allah see you shortly

Salaam & Hi all

I knows it’s been a while since I last updated you all, but I can assure you that we are working hard in getting Imran back to his old self again…

So I would like to share with you that Paij/Imran no longer needs to have the neck brace on alhamdulilla. They carried out an X-ray and the consultants were happy with how his vertebrae’s have healed.

He has had to endure having it on 24/7 since the 10th July, but by Allah’s will, your prayers and his sheer determination to get better, he is free of it.

Thank you so much everyone, your kind words and encouragement really helped us as a family and we will be forever grateful…

Irfan…

Ps. Watch out for the next update Insha Allah 🙏🏻✊🏼😁

Salaam & Hi all…

It’s been a while since I last gave you an update.

Alhamdulillah paij is doing well, he is still in the major trauma ward and has continues to make progress.

He is now eating food alhamdulillah… albeit puréed, it’s a slow process as they are trying to wean him off being fed via the tube.

His legs are still in constant pain but he is gaining muscle strength daily enabling him to have some unassisted movement.

His neck brace will have to stay on as it’s helping his spine heal correctly.

The physio team did sit him up but he could only manage 20 minutes…again this is positive progress

Please keep him in your duas/prayers

Salaam & Hi all

It’s been a while since I updated you all. Alhamdulliah paij is doing ok. He is in constant pain and requires adjusting throughout the day more or less every 2 mins.

I am attending daily from 11 till 7.00. Running over the allocated time daily….but the ward is ok with that.

He is agitated and just wants to get out of there and Insha Allah it will happen.

There’s nothing more I can really say at this moment but….as always keep him in your dua’s/prayers as he so desperately needs them

Salaam & Hi all.

Alhamdulillah Paij is out of ccu 🙏🏻. He has been taken to a major trauma ward where his recovery begins.

He is still breathing via the trachy but is now not reliant on any external device. They are still having to clear out his lungs periodically.

He is extremely confused /agitated and still doesn’t realise the severity of his injuries and was shocked to learn that it 4 weeks yesterday.

So before I get asked the inevitable question “can we go see Imran” 🙏🏻. Unfortunately it will not be any time soon. The ward in which he is in are even more strict than ccu. Only 1 visitor allowed daily (can only be that 1 person for the day) maximum of 2 hours. I humbly request that you allow us as a family to be with him for the very little time allocated for visitors.

Insha Allah he sill be home soon and everyone can welcome him back in person.

Thank you all, our heart felt thanks for all your support and love shown to Imran/us in a very difficult time in our lives.

Pls pls keep doing Dua’s/prayers for him as he a long and difficult recovery ahead of him.

Irfan…🙏🏻

Salaam and hi all

Alhamdulillah a great day for Imran. Had quite an interesting conversation with him. We planned his escape 🤣. He gave me very specific instructions on what car to bring and what time we’re going to do it 🤷🏼‍♂️…dropped a few F bombs too but I guess that the morphine and just being agitated lying on the bed

He’s doing really well with his breathing….using his lungs more and more daily, but still is reliant on the trachy.

The operation on his leg is booked, but its in order of priority/severity, we are hopeful that it will be soon.

They are happy with his progress on the Brain side of things and will not now book an MRI unless required.

His pelvis and spinal recovery is going well, but typically they asses after about 6-8 weeks.

I’m being asked by a lot of people if they can go visit him. This is currently not possible in CCU. I know the love you all have for him but Insha Allah when he moves into a ward then it sill be possible.

I have also had many requests to FaceTime, unfortunately this cannot be done also as they are very strict. We…as a family have taken the decision not to take pictures of him in his current state as we simply do not want him all over social media , pls respect our decision on this….trust me when I say this he definitely would NOT want it.

As always your love/support has been overwhelming, pls keep him in your dua’s/prayers and Insha Allah he will back on his feet doing what he does best…..

Irfan…..
