🚗 2014 VW Up – Throttle Valve Failure on the A*5! ⚠️
2014 VW Up suddenly lost throttle response while driving on the A*5. With no power underfoot, she carefully made it to the next junction before calling us for help.
Calling us in a panic, as when she’d turned the car off and then restarted the car, the engine began revving on its own, but still no throttle control — not something you want to happen on a busy road!
We recovered the vehicle, quickly diagnosed a failed throttle valve, we had it fully repaired and back on the road within the day!! ✅

🔧 Clutch System Failure on VW Touran – Full Repair Completed! 🚗
Customer called about her VW Touran after the clutch pedal suddenly dropped to the floor recovered to us, inspecting the vehicle, we found a complete failure in the clutch system:
✅ The release bearing had fully collapsed, putting excessive strain on the master and slave cylinders, which had both started leaking.
✅ We also diagnosed the common DMF (Dual Mass Flywheel) knocking issue, a well-known fault in these models.
🔩 To fully restore performance and reliability, we fitted:
* A brand new DMF
* Full clutch kit
* Replacement master and slave cylinders
Clutch pedal now feels good as new and is back to full operation 👌

2017 Vauxhall Mokka
Engine management warning light ⚠️ poor fuel economy & rough idle 🚗🚗💨💨💨
This customer had already spent £100s with another garage who replaced the spark plugs, air filter & an o2 sensor
The CarMan does what he does best and actually diagnosed that fault,
Diagnostics initially showed fault codes relating to fuel trim
Understanding the live data 📊 allows us to accurately determine what is causing the fault.
Real diagnostic testing means we are not wasting your money replacing unnecessary parts
Slight leak from intake hose to turbo (remove and refit cured that one) 💨💨💨
The Rocker cover was the main fault the PCV valve was stuck open due to excessive carbon deposits
