🥊 Sparring Squad 2025 🥊

Tonight marked our final sparring squad class of the year, and what a journey it’s been! 🔥

We began these sessions with a clear goal: to help our students improve their sparring skills, especially for tournaments, by giving them dedicated 1-to-1 attention and focusing deeply on footwork, attack, and defence. 🥊

We’re genuinely impressed with the effort, commitment, and hard work every student has shown. Not only have they pushed themselves in sparring squad sessions, but they’ve also taken what they’ve learned and applied it in their regular classes. The progress has been incredible to watch. 👏🏻🔥

We’re already excited for next year, with many tournaments planned and plenty of opportunities for our squad to put all their training into action.

A massive thank you to Coach Ella, who has been instrumental in every session. Her experience, eye for detail, and natural coaching ability have made a huge impact. She gives up her own time to support and develop the students, and it truly shows in their progress. 🫶🏻

🥊 Sparring Squad Update 🥊

We were finally back tonight for our Sparring Squad class after missing two sessions due to gradings, and it felt great to return Unfortunately, next week will be our final squad class of 2025.

Since launching these sessions just a couple of months ago, we’ve seen incredible progress from everyone attending. The dedicated coaching and valuable 1-1 time have really helped sharpen skills and raise the level of sparring across the group, while also easing the pressure on our regular classes. 🥊

We know the cold, wet weather has made coming along more challenging recently, but the commitment shown has been outstanding. You’ve all grafted hard, and it shows. 💪🏻🔥

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re hoping to see even more club members join the squad as we plan to hit more national and regional tournaments throughout the year. Big things coming! 🏆🏅
