This my chums, is the one to have. For a small 2 year window, BMW (I mean, Mini), cooked the perfect recipe.

This is the last of the reliable and engaging supercharged engines & the first of the face lift with a smidge more power and a teflon coated supercharger. 'Future classic' gets thrown around a lot, however I have spent weeks looking for a nice example before this appeared.. which tells a tale.

A huge thank you to John from Dorset, who brought this beauty across last week.

Sadly, proper fun hot hatches have become a thing of the past. More tech, turbos and computers have slowly killed the nostalgia. This is special, in it's own innocent way.

After a punchy first week back we are back on the hunt for proper stock, performance and prestige, if it has a badge and is well looked after, we want to know!

We have been approached for another Jaguar F Type (on the hunt for a 2022 onwards, AWD V8, in particular) and also a brightly coloured G series BMW M4.

If you're selling anything lovely, we are buying. As you will know, we try to avoid auctions and prefer to pay proper money buying from proper people.
