206 GTi180 before and after 💪

206 GTi180 came in with a knock from the bottom end, Found the oil pump pickup had fallen off causing oil starvation and...

206 GTi180 came in with a knock from the bottom end,
Found the oil pump pickup had fallen off causing oil starvation and wearing the crankshaft too much to be saved,
Good low mileage bottom end was sent to be balanced within 0.001g (crank, flywheel, clutch, pistons and rods)
Head refreshed with new valve stem oil seals and valves re-lapped,
Everything cleaned and painted and reassembled with all new gaskets, bearings, oil seals and nuts and bolts where needed,
Back in and running like a sewing machine and revs a lot more freely than any Peugeot engine I've seen,
Once we run the piston rings in and flush the oil it will be ready for the road and track days 💪
