Hitchin Road is closed next week for resurfacing. Work is planned to begin from G&M Growers end of the village first, we suggest entering the village from Ickwell Road, Biggleswade Road or Hitchin Road from Sandy.

Customer Service & Admin Support
Hours: Full-time
09.00 – 17.30 Monday – Friday

Job Profile:
Full-time customer, service and administration support. The position is of key importance within the business, as you will be responsible for meeting and greeting
customers, looking after their needs & requests throughout their visit to us. You are there to give them guidance on pricing, knowledge and understanding of the work
being carried out whilst their vehicles are with us.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, enthusiastic and personable, who has
experience of dealing with customers on a face-to-face basis. A good communicator,
who is naturally good with numbers and can deal with multi-tasking. Someone who
approaches tasks in a logical manner, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
Meet & greet customers, answering the phones, book-in jobs on the Workshop diary, ensure customer requests are communicated to the workshop. Quote on any additional work required and seek approval from customers in a timely fashion to enable the workshop to run efficiently. Liaise with the workshop on additional parts needed and communicate approvals. Keep customers informed of delays and collection times.

Order parts/stock as required, take receipt, log and manage returns procedures, create
job cards, customer invoices, and reminders etc.

As the business is small, we run a very hands-on approach with the customer’s needs at the core of our service. This may mean you being requested to help collect vehicles or customers from/to their home or work. General housekeeping tasks will be part of your day-to-day routine, be that keeping the office clean and tidy, ensuring we have stock of coffee and milk, making a hot drink for the team or customers.

Key Skills:
Numeracy
Computer literate – Microsoft Office packages, Quickbooks accounting, Outlook
email, Autodata, supplier websites – in-house training given
Knowledge of the motor trade is a distinct
advantage
Full driving license

Pay: Dependant on experience
Pension: Workplace pension with employer contribution
Holiday: 28 days per calendar year. Holidays include bank holidays.
