S U C C E S S . . . .
People think success is measured by how big your business is, how many staff you’ve got, or how massive your workshop looks…
Meanwhile, I’m over here 10 years later still working on a Saturday because I planned my week with all the organisation of a squirrel on an energy drink.
When I started this journey, I never intended for it to become a business, never mind become as busy as it has. Back then it was just me, a few tools, and blind optimism.
Don’t get me wrong — I love the madness of Monday to Friday. Busy workshop, phones ringing non-stop, everyone running around pretending we know what’s going on… it’s a good feeling.
But honestly, part of me misses the old days out on the road, working late to hit deadlines, surviving on bad coffee and worse decisions.
We’ve been lucky to have an amazing team over the years — both the staff we have now and those who’ve moved on to other ventures. Every single one has played a part in getting us where we are, and I’m massively grateful for that.
For me, success has never been about size. It’s about the relationships we’ve built, the loyal customers who keep coming back, and the businesses that continue to support us.
PS — This photo is me (Rob) working late on a Saturday due to poor planning on my end…
Nice to know that despite 10 years in business, some things remain beautifully unchanged.
