A rather wet start to the final competitive event of the year HERO-ERA HC3.

Tim Sawyer is in the hot (should that be wet) seat as Steve & Jane are in the Golf.

Fingers crossed for some sun tomorrow, but no Adam Gompertz 🤣🤣..

Well that was an exceptional days rallying 2nd overall by 2 seconds - I always knew Ryan would improve my rallying but not how much speed he would find me on the tests.

“Drive it like you stole it JLo, after test 1 - how do people steal cars in Rammy, on a trailer?”

Yes boss, point noted and then the times improved

Well done to Miles and John for a superb performance and lan for pushing us hard - engine rebuild starts this week !

66 was a good year for England and a good rally number for the plucky little Golf as well.

Just 2 seconds separated the top 3 cars and atter a top pertormance from Ryan on the left and a better than expected one from me on the right we ended up 2nd overall.

3rd fastest on tests overall and 2 fastest times on tests was an unexpected achievement - albeit the car did suffer on the long drive home so it's a new engine build before summer trial 🙈

4th by 11 seconds, but Simon and Emily were super quick, accurate and deserved it after a couple of years of bad luck. You just have to roll with it when rallying

A simply amazing last day and we can’t have pushed any harder - smallest engined car and highest placed finisher will do for me !

now it’s onto the bar…

Some quite amazing showman engines to finish the day off thanks Mike and Tommy for showing us around.
