The moment a tyre goes onto your vehicle, it becomes part of every brake, every turn and every journey. That’s why illegally sold part-worn tyres present such a serious concern. Your tyres are critical safety components and their condition directly affects braking, handling and control. Yet TyreSafe’s enforcement activity has found part-worn tyres with serious defects and failures to meet legal requirements. Four tyres are responsible for connecting your vehicle to the road. Don’t underestimate what you’re asking them to do. What’s fitted to your vehicle matters every mile, not just at MOT time.

Speeding.

I have a friend/colleague who is an ex traffic cop and says the hardest part of the job was the long walk up to the front door and telling the family that one of their loved ones would not be coming home.

The screams he heard were heart rending - all due to someone speeding and making a mistake.

Cheers, keep safe and don't speed.🙏

From the illustration you can easily see that the time gained by going an extra 10mph from 70 to 80 mph is minimal and just not worth the risk.

Cheers and keep safe.

Can you see the motorbike in this picture?

It really is important to 'think once, think twice, think Bike' 🏍 when getting ready to pull out onto the road. 🙂👍

A brilliant result today for Maria at Hastings Dtc in glorious sunshine.

A perfect drive and all ready to venture off to a new world with her new found freedom and independence. With a young (very young🙂) family and the job beckoning in July it's an exciting year to remember.

Cheers Maria and keep safe.
