A brilliant result today for Maria at Hastings Dtc in glorious sunshine.

A perfect drive and all ready to venture off to a new world with her new found freedom and independence. With a young (very young🙂) family and the job beckoning in July it's an exciting year to remember.

A brilliant result recently for Jess in Hastings on her driving test.
Beautiful conditions for her test after all the grim weather we've had recently. 😀

A well earned result after all the hard work Jess has put into her lessons allowing her to drive exceptionally well and be as calm as a cucumber on the day.

A fantastic result for Robert Dye today in Hastings Dtc
One of the best earned test results of all my pupils over the decades.

Despite having to stop due to the pandemic, difficulties that arose with his licence - through no fault of his and the battle to get it reinstated. Needing to resit the theory test, moving house getting a great job, he stuck resolutely to the task of passing.

Well done mate, you really do deserve the pass certificate today and it has been an absolute pleasure being part of your journey.

Follow the advice from Roadcraft for better driving. The Roadcraft system of car control is simple, but highly effective and been in use since 1937.
RIGHT PLACE
RIGHT TIME
RIGHT SPEED
RIGHT GEAR.

Also, unlike the instructor in the car in the picture, DON'T be 4 times the drink driving limit - only drive when sober.

Hi guys, something worth discussing with your friends, or family.

So often you'll be rear-ended, and when you look it seems like nothing worth bothering about. The other driver will offer to pay, rather than going through the insurance.

I knew someone this happened to years ago, and it went wrong big time. The damage, when it went to the garage, was extensive and the other driver refused to pay.

The cost of repairs to mine came as a shock, it came to just over £4,500. Excluding the cost of a courtesy car and time off work.

Moral of the story, never assume, always have it checked.

A fabulous result for Izzy yesterday in Hastings on passing her test.
I had to tell her that the car had been rear-ended an hour before I picked her up and the rear reversing aids were useless. It would be necessary for her to switch off the audible alarm when selecting reverse to stop the whining sound. Izzy handled it like a true professional and just took it in her stride.

A truly impressive performance, and one very proud instructor.

Well done mate and huge big congratulations 🎊 from me.
