WARNING OF FRAUD
Dangerous email CLAIMING TO BE FROM THE dvsa
Have you received the following email. If you have DELETE IT – DO NOT RESPOND to it. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. It is a scam and a very good one.
Dear Customer, the DVLA would never address you as dear customer. They know your details and would address you by name. Also, it is more likely to come via the postman, not email.
Our records show that some of the information on your driving licence is out of date.
To continue using your driving licence, please ensure your personal details are correct.
You can update your information online at:

It is a legal requirement to ensure the information on your driving licence is accurate.
Please ensure to update the following information:
Your full name
Your date of birth
Your full address
Your Payment details the dvla would never ask you for your bank details via email
Failure to keep your licence details up to date may result in a fine of up to £1,000.
Please do not reply to this email as the return mailbox is not monitored.
