For clients who want to go a step further, some of the many extras we offer include individual air chambers – a fully sealed environment around the car – and our ‘Vehicle Exercise Programme’ to ensure the mechanicals are kept in proper working order.

Congratulations to Mr Whittle on taking delivery of his very own Morgan Plus Four, our customer finally got to see the finished car for the first time today after seeing it in build in Malvern.

Finished in the stunning Aston Martin Ultramarine Black, and contrasted with a Biscuit interior, it is a truly stunning specification and has received many compliments whilst here awaiting his collection.

From his first enquiry to the moment he drove away, it was a pleasure to see months of anticipation become reality.

A stylish acquisition.

Three owners in 62 years. That’s where this story starts.

This 1963 Bentley S3 Saloon left Jack Barclay’s Berkeley Square showroom for the sum of £5,510 – 19 shillings and tuppence, inclusive of options, with a Jaguar Mk VII taken in part exchange. Its original invoice is still in the file.

Its second owner, Mr Harrison, lived in Hong Kong. The Bentley stayed in Bedfordshire, maintained by specialists and kept ready for the three weeks a year he returned to England – trips to Goodwood among them.

When corrosion to the sills prompted a full bare-metal respray in 1996, he chose Oxford Blue and had the headlining replaced while they were at it. His verdict, in his own words: “The Duchess looks resplendent in her new frock, warms the cockles of me ‘eart.”

The current owner acquired the car in 2014 and brought it to us, embarking on nearly £40,000 of mechanical work in the first year alone. After several years of use, he returned for a full coachwork and interior restoration — chrome, wood, all of it — completed in 2024 at a cost of over £100,000. Air conditioning was added sympathetically, with originality retained throughout.

The result is what you see here – one of the finest Bentley S3 Saloons in existence, with a history file that reads better than most novels.
