SmiLe Driver Training

SmiLe Driver Training is an independent driving school based in Belper, Derbyshire. I currently teach manual driving. Making safe, happy drivers :) Hi, I'm Lucy.

I work with each learner to ensure lessons are tailored to your individual needs and learning styles. I teach part time, around caring for my two school age children with additional needs. As your instructor it is my goal to ensure that we find what works best for you and make learning to drive a fun and positive experience. I teach a small number of pupils at a time and endeavour to offer an individual service to each one. For people who are neuro-divergent, suffer from anxiety, or have mild learning disabilities, the importance of being able to drive can be profound, but finding a suitable instructor can potentially be very challenging. I take pride and pleasure in working with learners of all needs and abilities to help achieve the life goal of gaining your driving licence. If you would like to chat, please get in touch.

Fantastic result this morning for Harry, first attempt too 🥰. I know it means such a lot to you, especially after five years since you first started learning before leaving for uni 😅. The future is yours now 😊

Remember .. ‘outwards, not inwards’. Be safe and enjoy 😁🚘😁

An amazing first time pass today from Abi … only one fault too! You are such a lovely driver Abi, and proved that the best approach to test is to just drive the same as you do any other day 🧡

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed our chats and wish you all the very best, whatever you choose for your next step. Happy and safe adventures with Pootle😁
