🔥 About the Role

At HAJ Repairs, we’re growing and looking for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team.
You’ll be working from a fully kitted, modern service van, equipped with all the latest tools and parts needed to carry out a wide range of jobs on-site.

🚐 What Makes This Role Different

🛠️ Your Day-to-Day

• Servicing and maintaining a fleet of commercial vehicles
• On-site diagnostics and fault finding
• Mechanical repairs from routine to major jobs
• Engine work and component replacements
• Attending breakdowns and roadside assistance when required
• Keeping accurate job records and communicating with the team

✅ What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving ability
• Experience with commercial vehicles
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• High standards of workmanship and professionalism

HAJ Repairs are recruiting a Full Time Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Technician with good knowledge of commercial vehicles..
Typical Duties of a Vehicle Technician include, but are not limited to:
•Mechanical servicing and maintenance to a fleet of commercial vehicles
•Routine inspections
•Mechanical repairs
•Diagnostic fault finding to ensure the fleet is consistently maintained and road worthy
•Work will vary from general servicing on Cars, Van and Minibuses to major repairs
•Engine overhaul and gearbox replacements
•Prepare vehicles for PSV/ MOT
•Vehicle breakdown and roadside assistance when required
•Liaise with the team on work progress and any problems or delays that may occur
•Ensuring relevant documentation is complete.

What we are looking for:
•Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Repair or similar
•Proven mechanical experience.
•Knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and diagnostic fault finding
•Professional approach to your workload
•Able to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
