We are a family run business and take a real pride in making our guests feel welcome. We are passionate about our Caravan Park and our location and we want to provide you with the best holiday home or caravanning experience in the region. We combine sensitively sited static caravans for those looking for a permanent base along with an ideal destination for touring caravans and motorhomes. We pay attention to detail to ensure that all of our amenities are maintained to the highest standard. The site is beautifully landscaped with the majority of the pitches grouped in small numbers but without compromising privacy. There is plenty of imaginative planting of mature shrubbery and well stocked flower beds that provide interest at all times of the year. We are located within easy walking distance of the medieval village of Belford with its restaurants, hostelries and shops to cater for your needs.

🌹🏆 WE’VE WON A VISITENGLAND ROSE AWARD 2026! 🏆🌹

We are incredibly proud to share that South Meadows Coast & Country Park has been named one of just 100 VisitEngland ROSE Award winners across the whole of England for 2026!

Simon and James travelled to Berkshire to proudly collect the award on behalf of Team South Meadows.

The ROSE Awards recognise Recognition Of Service Excellence, celebrating accommodation businesses that provide outstanding customer service and an exceptional welcome to their visitors.

This really is a fantastic achievement for our family-run park and a huge credit to our whole team, who work so hard throughout the year. 💚

We’re also extremely proud to be flying the flag for Northumberland, with all eight North East winners this year coming from our wonderful county!

Thank you, as always, to all of our customers for your continued support — this one means a lot to us. 🌹

⚡ POWER CUT – SOUTH MEADOWS ⚡
Wednesday 9th September

Just a quick update to let our customers know that we are currently experiencing a power cut at the park due to an issue with Powergrid.

Powergrid are currently estimating that power should be restored by approximately 4.45pm today.

In the meantime, we have the generator running at Reception and in the top facilities block, which customers are welcome to use.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. 💚

Rosie is a 6-year-old Frenchie who has IVDD and has needed a little extra help getting around since she was just 2. Luckily, she has her very own set of wheels (and some wonderful humans!) to make sure she doesn’t miss out on her adventures. 🥰
