Hi, my name is Harry Taylor and I'm the owner of Cherryvalley Cars & Classics. A passion going back 50 years. I buy and sell Classic Cars and low mileage daily drivers. I've been interested in cars since I was around 12 years of age and by age 14 or 15 I was repairing cars for

family and friends, I was stock car racing and I was working part time in a friends dads garage. A long career in the car industry began in 1974 when I started working full time as an apprentice car mechanic, the same year that I bought an Ex Works Mini Cooper S rally car with delusions of becoming the next Paddy Hopkirk!! Along with my good friend, in 1981 at the age of 24 I started my own car repair & sales business in Belfast, and in 1992 we moved to a two acre site in Newtownards. Having acquired my own small collection of classics, I was still being offered many other cars from various sources, and as the old adage says "You Can't Keep Them All", Cherryvalley Cars & Classics was born!

🔥FOR SALE 🔥1951 MG TD Stunning condition throughout £11950

A beautiful car that looks fantastic and drives as good as it looks, with a fascinating history.

The exterior is in superb condition, with bright, glossy paintwork, excellent chrome, and great wheels and tyres.

The interior is equally impressive, the seats, carpets, door cards, and dashboard are in excellent order.

The engine bay and underside are also in excellent order, reflecting the overall quality of the car.

This stunning 1951 MG TD was supplied to Ireland as a CKD to be assembled by Booth Bros the famous coach builders in Dublin. One of only 30 produced that year.

The car was bought and registered NI6660 to the renowned classic car racer Dickie Lovell-Butt who raced all over Ireland including Dundrod & Kirkistown(Not in the MGTD)

It was then bought by Martin Bros of Mullingar Co Westmeath who were British Leyland Dealers, and they kept it on display in their showroom for many years.

In 2014 the car returned to the English south coast having been repainted and recommissioned to concours standard and bought by a UK resident who kept the car in storage as he mostly resides in Switzerland.

In January 2024 he decided to sell the car and had recommissioning work out in readiness for sale. The work was carried out by 20th Century Motorcars of Chichester a leading classic car restoration company. The work included gearbox overhaul, new prop shaft, complete brake overhaul, and all electrics checked.

The car was then bought by a local Northern Ireland man in 2025, but sadly he only owned it for a short time before passing away earlier this year.

Currently in Northern Ireland, the car comes with a standard UK V5, so can be driven anywhere in the UK with no need for reregistration or import duties.

HPI CHECKED. The car has been checked and there is no known outstanding finance, mileage discrepancies, or insurance records of damage or theft.

A great looking MGF in excellent condition throughout and a brilliant car to drive. Covered 73,500 miles and supplied with MOT history, service books, invoices and part service history.

A major service was carried out less than 2,000 miles ago, including significant preventative maintenance. Although there were no previous issues, the head gasket, stainless steel underfloor water pipes, water pump and timing belt have all been replaced. A full list of work carried out is included in the photos.

The car comes with remote central locking, electric windows, alarm, radio/CD player, two keys and two remote fobs.

Bangers & Cash Restoring Classics Team carried out a restoration on this rare 1972 Honda N600, featured in Series 7, Episode 13 of Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics.

The team purchased the car in June 2025 for just over £4,000 and undertook a restoration costing close to £10,000.
