💦With our new Carbon Clean DPF and CAT cleaning machine which utilises a combination of a pre treatment soak and high pressure hydro cleaning with aid of compressed air we can soften and blast out not only the SOOT but the only real method to fully release ASH and by products of the regeneration process.

💷New DPFs can be very costly. And some cleaning methods do not come close to this level of cleaning and are touted at £300+ pounds.

👨‍🔧We offer a remove and refit service in house charged at reasonable hourly rate.

Birthday weekend and the Big 4-0 🤮

Going to have the weekend off and possibly few days into next week.

Wrapping up the jobs I have for this week swiftly and making a beeline for the Barbers 🤣

First of the day was a ford transit custom 2015 which had had regens done at a garage and hadn't been serviced afterwards.

Oil dilution had caused diesel to permeate into the oil and oil level was well above the MAX.

We have cleaned the DPF thoroughly with our off vehicle DPF cleaning system and added some sauce for the customer and friend bringing his lacklustre 100bhp transit to a gokart like 180bjp

Next Up is a 2024 Ranger 240bhp getting a Stage 1 tune turning an already pokey 3.0l V6 into a real animal.

What a beautiful truck this is though and only 11l miles 🥰

Strange one yesterday for AutoFix with Steven switching out a DPF for a customer on their 2015 Nissan Juke 1.5dci.

DPF on vehicle had a weird drill hole sent in through the egr cooler join at top of DPF but was sent through half way and wonky.

The ECU was stock and was showing codes for the DPF being tampered with.

No tuning needed as already running stock.

Sensors hanging down unplugged. Heat shield in place with 1 of 8 screws.

New exhaust had snapped bolt which needed repaired prior to fitting.

Leak in and around the turbo feed pipe which you can see around the original DPF can.

Customer asked us to get the DPF switched over to a full and untapped with DPF, and to correct anything we saw on way to doing so.

Which we did!

Late one last night.

Customer was recommended to us from a previously satisfied customer of ours following a diagnostic scan showing an AdBlue fault.

Usually we take more photos but this one was later on as I had just pulled up on my drive.

Customer had 18miles remaining and knew his miles by the time he got home would be diminished.

We packed tools back up and went out mobile to Walbottle and got to the bottom of the faulr.

Fault found
Options discussed with customer

Option chose, we carried out a solution for this 2021 Citreon Relay and the countdown to NONE start was removed and he could get to work.

Sadly whilst there we were asked to check vehicle over as it had had a turbo replaced recently amd there was no boost.

Live data verified this and under load pressure at manifold dropped indicating turbo or boost fault.

Engine bay flooded with exhaust gas.

Believe pipe has come loose and its booked into the garahe this morning to be checked over.
