🎄THE GARAGE THAT SAVED CHRISTMAS 🎄
Yesterday (Fri 19th Dec) had all the ingredients for a festive disaster; but thanks to the incredible team at Thompson Bros Garage in Kempston, it turned into a Christmas miracle instead.
After dropping off a parcel, I had two school shows and a corporate event ahead, a full day of performing magic! My van was packed with props, puppets, sound gear and then suddenly, my rear brakes started locking on.
I’ve trusted Thompson Bros for over a decade with my vehicles, so I gave them a call (on 01234 853617) on the off‑chance they could help. Somehow, and I still don’t know how, they had an unusually quiet morning and fit me in straight away! They even lent me a courtesy vehicle so I could still get to my school shows in Dunstable and Chalton.
By the time I returned, they’d replaced the entire rear braking system and two front tyres. I was back in my own van and on the road to my evening corporate show in Peterborough with time to spare.
