The Future is here and can’t wait to get this up and running.
X Tools laser cutter/engraver this will allow me to reproduce gaskets that are no longer available and also engrave and print onto may different items.
Once I learn how it works it should prove to be an invaluable tool.
Ps - I did not cut the gaskets in the picture, this was some my cousin did for me last week using a similar machine so we know this one will do the job perfectly.

Keihin CVK from a Kawasaki ZXR750 L1 1993 these came in to have the throttle bodies re-bushed and an ultrasonic clean.
Quite unusual from my experience to find the throttle bodies needing re-bushing as they don’t normally wear that much however this was the exception, we machined the throttle bodies and installed new bushings, the carburetters were run through the ultrasonic bath using clean solution for and hour and then flush with carburetter cleaner before re-filling the throttle spindle and also replacing the throttle seals and of course using new throttle disc screws.
The customer had already stripped the carburetters (except the throttle spindles and discs) and was happy to finish the assembly process himself.

This set of Dellorto 40 DHLA’s had been lying in storage for around 30 years and were in a horrible condition.
Lots of corrosion, damage and seized in place mixture screw, fuel turned to hard varnish and so on and we even had wildlife that had once been living inside the venture 🫣
The inlet manifold has also suffered corrosion around the water jacket.

Both carburetters were completely stripped and went through our several stage cleaning process, the seized mixture screws were removed before being rebuilt to factory specifications using genuine Dellorto parts.

The inlet manifold water jacket corrosion was corrected using metal weld before being machined flat.

The customer opted for some very nice K&N air filters as the icing on the cake.

I’m sure you will agree these came up well and will look stunning on his Caterham 7

Pair of SU HD6TH Carburetters from a Jaguar 340 MK2 1968 fully restored using genuine SU Parts.
These carburetters are prone for corrosion within the float chamber feed for the choke and quite often it’s found that buy removing the banjo bolt the threaded section is completely destroyed and basically the float chamber is scrap ! These float chambers are becoming increasingly difficult to find secondhand and are extremely expensive to buy new so we came up with our own solution which not only corrects the problem and will last for many years we have also saved an original float chamber.

For all your carburetters requirements large or small please feel free to contact us.

Weber 32/36 DGAV fully restored and also installed our custom primary throttle body sealed roller bearings conversion, carburetter was fully restored to factory specifications using genuine Weber parts.

The inlet manifold was also vapour blasted and the faces machined to ensure surfaces are flat.

This carburetter and inlet manifold belong to a local Bathgate customer who is currently restoring his Es**rt RS2000 MK2 to Concours condition with no details left untouched and is going to be on spectacular car and can’t wait to see the finished results.

A Japanese Solex/Mikuni and inlet manifold from a Mitsubishi C**t Celeste 2.0 1978 now fully restored and back with the customer and awaiting re-fitting once the vehicle restoration is complete.
Carburetter was fully stripped and went through several stages of cleaning, the throttle body and choke body was rebushed, all metal parts re-plated before being rebuilt and set to factory settings, finding all the correct parts for this carburetter proved challenging but I eventually sourced all the parts required.
The inlet manifold was vapour blasted and the faces checked to ensure they were flat, and in this case only a light clean up was required, all metal parts re-plated before the carburetter was refitted.

Look forward to seeing the car complete sometime in the future.

Ferrari 365 carburetter restoration.
This car came in for some tuning work to The Supercar Tech and it was quickly discovered it needed more attention and I was asked to inspect the car.
The carburetters and inlet manifold were removed and I found all inlet manifold to be warped, stripping one of the 3 Weber 40DIFS’s and found excessive throttle spindle wear and the gears were not messing correctly but worse still the carburetter bases and tops were also warped !
All carburetter were completely stripped and had a further inspection and I found evidence that these had recently been worked on and the gaskets etc looked quite recent…….
Once stripped the inlet manifold and all 3 carburetter were set out to engineering, the carburetter bodies had new custom busing and all faces were machined flat on a milling machine, this process not only looks amazing but more importantly everything was now flat.
Throttle spindle were refitted to check gear meshing which I was glad to say was spot on as gears are no longer available and manufacturing a set would have been expensive.
All metal parts were re- plated before rebuilding the carburetters using genuine Weber parts and assembly to factory specifications.
While I was restoring the carburetters and inlet manifoldsI figured I might as well complete the job so the throttle linkages and fuel pressure regulator got some love too, the linkages were re-plated and painted and upgraded sealed roller bearings installed, the Fispa fuel pressure regulator was also restored using genuine parts.
Once the car was up and running we found that she would cut out intermittently and after a few checks the supercar techs found that the rear fuel filter had collapsed and the electric fuel pump was failing as it was working too hard. This is and unusual set up as the car had a mechanical and electric fuel pump.
Once this was rectified I was them able to dial in the triple Webers and the car now runs like a dream.

Once we had finned with the vehicle she went off to Ferrari to have an inspection to keep its heritage registered. What a car absolutely stunning.

Pair of SU HS2’s from an MG Midget 1275
Fully restored using Genuine SU parts, including throttle bodies being re-bushed, new spindle, throttle discs, main jets, main needles, main springs, needle valves, floats, seals and gaskets and re-built to factory settings.

All metal parts were placed Gold as request by my customer, something a little different as they would normally be silver plated ……..what do you think of this colour on these ?
