With the recent announcement that Mon motors Chippenham won’t be reopening.
We would like to take this opportunity to offer people in the Chippenham area our services to maintain and repair your Volkswagen, Volkswagen commercial, and Skoda vehicles.
We can also offer a collection and delivery service and also run loan cars and vans.

*Covid-19 Virus update*.
We will be re-opening on the 4th of May and offering a limited service on an appointment only basis.

We will be able to offer all our usual diagnostic’s, repairs, services, and MOT’s.

Contact with customers must be kept to a minimum with a key drop off system in place and card/bacs payment to be taken before collection.

Vehicles will be antibacterial wiped after work is completed but we would like customers to be responsible and carry out the same wiping down to the vehicle before dropping off and after collection to ensure we can all operate as safe as possible.

In special circumstances we can offer a collection and delivery service.

This is a few pictures from a recent repair to a Audi A5 which had a multitronic gearbox problem.
Had been quoted upwards of £2500 to repair from several other garages inc a gearbox specialist.
We diagnosed and repaired this car for roughly a fifth of the cost the customer had been quoted before a visit to us!!

This car exceeded its scheduled timing/cam belt replacement interval.
This resulted in a costly repair as the cylinder head had to be removed.
Because the engine has then lost its timing the Pistons have contacted the valves and bent all 16 valves.
If you are unsure when your timing/cam belt replacement is due then please contact us with your registration number.
Petrol or diesel vehicles up to 2000cc using only genuine parts-
£299 all inc. Cam belt and water pump replacement with anti freeze change.
Or
£349 all inc.Cam belt kit (which includes any tentioners,rollers, and pulleys) and water pump with antifreeze change.

Volkswagen Touareg in this week with aloud knocking underneath.
Diagnosed centre prop shaft bearing had collapsed.
Quite a common problem on these vehicles.
Volkswagen will only supply a complete prop shaft which is well over £1000 just for the shaft.
But we are able to source the bearing direct from Germany making the whole repair well under half the price!

This golf was recovered into us as a non start!
Found that the internals of the dual mass flywheel had come out of the side and locked it to the bell housing of the gear box!
Don't ignore any unusual noises from your car!
