Just some thoughts on the business front , I've taken on a lot of work in my time as a motor mechanic that some mechanics would not contemplate, I've been in the industry for over 40 years so I have a vast experience and a wealth of knowledge, I'm still learning as all mechanics should do because we will never know everything. Obviously when it comes to the higher end more specialist cars that's a comptely different matter and I would never give the impression otherwise. Also I value the customer satisfaction part of the job very highly and I get quite annoyed with a lot of stories and feedback about other garages and some other mobile mechanics i have heard aboutfrom customers, this ranges from poor workmanship issues to mechanics failing to turn up for appointments, then no communication from them. Please be assured I have never operated in this way, customers are notified of my eta on the day of the appointment, if there is a valid reason where I cannot make the appointment they are always notified and the appointments rearranged, if a job is taking longer than anticipated then you are notified, I will always endeavour to keep you updated on costs of the work but gaining permission before continuing.
Please be assured the customer is the priority in regards to this business plus I have a workshop option to the mobile side of the business of which the hourly labour rate is cheaper and you are given the option for mobile or workshop services, please understand the are some types of work I can only carry out via the mobile option of which will be explained to you.

I have some concerns that there are people and certain garages around that are working on cars whilst not having the qualifications, I have made a point of digging out my certificates to prove my qualifications and I think customers should ask for proof of a mechanics qualifications before letting them carry out repairs, the main concerns I believe are correct are that anyone who works on vehicles for a living should have public liability insurance, now if this person has no qualifications and you have an accident due to something they have done you as a customer may find their insurance could become null & void and you will have issues if you have some life changing injury due to your mechanics bad workmanship, please be careful and ask for proof of qualifications if you have any concerns.

These photos were taken from a job I csrried out a while ago, this was a Vauxhall astral that came to me with the airbag warning light on, after a diagnostic inspection and removal of the drivers seat I found that that wiring plug from the seat to the main loom under floor had suffered from some heavy corrosion obviously the airbag warning light is an m. o. t failure, suffice to say that I managed to find a second hand wiring connector rewired to the seat, cleared the codes and a very happy customer. I have been known and praised for taking on work that other garages refuse to take on and carry out satisfactory repair work for my customers whilst being a lot cheaper than my competitors, check out my website and my reviews on Google and yell.com for proof.

Just to let all my current and potentially new customers know that during this current covid 19 lock down situation I am open for business as per usual, because this business is classed as an essential trade to keep people being able to get to work etc and as I work alone and adhere to safe practices I can keep trading whilst keeping my customers safe as well. During these tough times the business is operating without restrictions although adhering to covid 19. Gloves always worn while working on customer vehicles.

The photos taken of the brakes are from a 2005 Jeep Cherokee of which the braking system virtually completely broke down., the inner handbrake shoes all broke up or literally fell apart and the calipers were leaking fluid, suffice to say the vehicle is now safely back on the road with all the rear brake system overhauled.

While I'm here I want to add that I do offer mobile work and I am able to carry out welding work, I've just carried out a major repair on a classic MGB GT for a customer where I restructured the nearside sill panels inner and outer also a front wing and rear quaternary panel repair as well, pictures will be posted on my website soon..
