Some Honda K24 parts we have freshened up this week!
I saw a post on Instagram yesterday about a fairly well known person in the modified car world who had gotten some VR6 engine parts vapour blasted, built the engine and it grenaded itself. It was quite quickly established that it was because the company that had vapour blasted it never cleaned all of the media out (not us)
Now, I can sympathise. But also, we make it very clear to all of our customers that we do everything we can to prevent the media getting in where it shouldn’t, and if it does we have taken precautions to stop the media sticking to blind areas. Mainly degreasing the parts properly first. However you should always assume that you need to triple check and give everything a good flush out for good measure! Even if the company you are using have an outstanding reputation, for the sake of giving things another flush to prevent catastrophic failure, and getting the most out of the great finish that is achieved, the extra flush is worth it.!
