The company was started by Paddy Dempsey in 2002 when he was working as a Mobile Smart Repair Technician centred at Barnstaple North Devon.In the first instance working from a van providing a mobile service in the Barnstaple area. In 2004 the business moved to a unit in Riverside Road, Pottington, Barnstaple where Paddy was joined by his wife Nikkie Dempsey, who helped expand the business by intro

ducing a valeting service. In 2011 the business was restructured as Allsmart Auto Repairs Ltd and moved to their present location at Unit 4 Upcott Avenue, Pottington, Barnstaple when their mum and dad (Stewart and Dee Butler) joined the business. Stewart and Dee look after the financial side of the business leaving Paddy and Nikkie to concentrate on using their skills in the workshop. The main emphasis for the restructure of the business is to enable us to provide the customer with a First Class Finish at a Reasonable Price with the work being fully guaranteed.Our aim is to become the Leading Cosmetic Repair Centre for North Devon. The new unit is much larger than the previous, providing Reception area, offices, large workshop, and forecourt area. The workshop is designed to provide the customer with the best finish possible for their car involving all the latest technical advancements in paint systems. Our paint booth, coupled with the paint systems installed allows us to provide a finish to cars equal to that of the original manufacturer. In some instances even better! We are proud of the work we produce and confident of the finish providing all our customers with a full guarantee. We are a member of the VBRA who are approved by the Office of Fair trading.
