Would you know what to do if your brakes’ performance began to drop when towing a caravan or trailer?

Brake fade can happen when using your brakes too heavily while towing and can affect the performance of your vehicle’s brakes. ⚠️

You should:

✅ Change to a lower gear
✅ Use the engine to brake by selecting a lower gear
✅ And do not allow the car to coast

👍 Stop yourself from getting into trouble in the first place by getting some towing training: https://www.gov.uk/towing-with-car.

Once you've booked your driving test, you can change your appointment if:

⏰ You find an earlier driving test (sometimes called a ‘cancellation appointment’)
📅 You want to move your driving test to a later date
🏢 You want to change which test centre you take your test at

You must give at least 3 full working days’ notice to change your test or you’ll have to pay again. Monday to Saturday count as working days but Sundays and public holidays do not.
