🚨 £5,000 QUOTED… BUT THERE'S ANOTHER WAY! 🚨

🦇 FIAT DUCATO COMFORTMATIC – ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER AT MIDNIGHT AUTOS LTD!

Here's a story that perfectly explains why we do things the way we do.

We recently had a customer contact us with a Fiat Ducato motorhome suffering from a Comfortmatic transmission problem.

They had already been through quite an ordeal trying to get it repaired.

🔧 They struggled to find a garage locally willing to take the job on.

🔧 They eventually found one, but unfortunately the problem was misdiagnosed.

💷 Another garage quoted them a staggering £5,000 to repair it!

Thankfully, before committing to that bill, they found Midnight Autos Ltd online.

We arranged for their motorhome to be recovered to our workshop, where our experience with these transmissions meant we were able to identify the actual fault straight away.

The problem was diagnosed correctly, repaired and the customer informed.

And here's the best bit…

The customer was so delighted to discover they'd saved THOUSANDS OF POUNDS that they decided to treat their motorhome to some additional maintenance while it was with us!

So we carried out:

✅ Vehicle recovery to our workshop

✅ Comfortmatic transmission diagnosis & repair

✅ Full Comfortmatic transmission service

✅ Full motorhome service

💥 AND THE TOTAL BILL FOR ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING WAS STILL JUST A FRACTION OF THE £5,000 THEY'D BEEN QUOTED FOR THE REPAIR ALONE!

Now, as the owner of Midnight Autos Ltd, I want to make something very clear.

I'm not interested in seeing how much money we can extract from every customer who walks through our doors.

I'm interested in diagnosing problems correctly, repairing vehicles properly and charging a FAIR price for the work we carry out.

Of course, running a garage isn't cheap. We have specialist equipment, years of experience, staff, overheads and constant investment in training and technology.

But there's a big difference between charging fairly for specialist knowledge and taking advantage of someone who has very few other options.

And unfortunately, when it comes to specialist systems like the Fiat Comfortmatic transmission, customers can find themselves facing some frightening repair quotations.

We believe trust is worth far more than making a fortune out of one job.

Because a customer who knows they've been treated fairly will remember it, recommend us and hopefully return for years to come.

That's how I want to build this business. Not by making the maximum amount from every repair, but by building a reputation for doing things properly.

🚐 BUYING A USED MOTORHOME? WHO YOU BUY IT FROM CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE! 🚐

There's a world of difference between buying a motorhome privately and buying from a reputable motorhome sales company that genuinely cares about what happens AFTER the sale.

This particular customer of ours is one of the pioneers of motorhome and caravan sales in the UK, and their attention to detail is exactly why experience matters.

They go above and beyond to make sure their customers can head off on their adventures with confidence, enjoying thousands of miles of happy memories rather than unexpected repair bills.

🔧 This motorhome is a perfect example!

Before it even goes up for sale, it's receiving:

✅ New timing belt & water pump

✅ Full Fiat Comfortmatic transmission service & calibration

✅ Replacement of a known troublesome component with a brand-new genuine part

And that's not all!

Once it's sold, it'll be coming back to us for a full service and MOT before heading off with its new owner.

💜 That's what proper preparation looks like!

It's not just about making a motorhome look good on the forecourt. It's about making sure what's underneath is just as good.

Because the best adventures begin with peace of mind. 🚐🌙

A bit of Midnight Fiat Comfortmatic exitment.
We do a lot of these, but it still amazes us what we find sometimes. This particular motorhome has had the incorrect fluid in the hydraulic system amoung a few other issues. The black fluid in the taller jug is actually Dot 4 brake & clutch fluid, which is clear when new. It's starting to come out clear after flushing almost 1ltr of fresh Dot 4.
Still got a bit to do before road test.
