Most vehicles come out of the factory with some form of PPF. These stone guard protectors have likely been on this Porsche Panamera since factory which would make it 15 years old. PPF technology has moved on drastically since those days, you shouldn’t be able to see your PPF until you are right up close.

We replaced these rear door protectors for this customer after they had yellowed, a simple add on to a paint correction that really finished off this car.

Wipeout Tar & Glue Remover

This product is excellent for removing tar spots, glue residue from old decals or tyre marks.

Simply spray on to a dry surface, allow to dwell for 2-3 minutes and wipe off, it’s as simple as that. Repeat this process for stubborn glue marks or combine with a plastic scraper if required. Wipe off any excess residue to avoid any risk of staining plastics.

Mercedes SLC - Graphene Coating

This SLC came to us after having a major respray through insurance due to damages, luckily the customer had paint care protection and was able to get the vehicle re-coated.

The insurance company required a professional detailing studio that was able to offer the service to a high standard which we were happy to offer.

With an overflowing diary, we managed to moved things about to squeeze this vehicle in to get it back to the customer as soon as possible. Secure transportation was organised by and the vehicle was back to the bodyshop ready for the handover within a couple of days.

Blitz Fallout Remover or Vortex Wheel Gel?

We often get asked “Should I be using Blitz every time I wash the car? When should I be using Vortex?”

The primary function of Blitz is to remove iron particles and brake dust build up, this means if you are washing your car on a regular basis (every 1-2 weeks), you are likely wasting product if using Blitz on your alloys each time.

Frequent washer: we recommend rinsing your wheels prior to applying any product, if majority of the dirt comes off with a pressure washer, you don’t need to be using Blitz, this is when we would advise using Vortex Gel Wheel Cleaner. As a rule of thumb, we have noticed for a regular vehicle washed regularly and being used to commute to & from work you can use Blitz Fallout Remover every other time you wash the vehicle.

Infrequent washer or track brake pads user: we recommend pre-rinsing your alloys before spraying Blitz, if the alloy turns dark purple all over, rinse off & repeat using a brush to agitate on the second time. If the wheel is only partly purple, rinse Blitz off and switch to Vortex for your contact wash.

What is the difference?

Vortex Gel Wheel Cleaner has a clingy consistency formulated to clean general dirt, grease and road grime.

Ultimately, if you want to use Blitz Fallout Remover on your wheels every time you wash your vehicle, go for it, it won’t cause your alloys any damage. Vortex Gel Wheel Cleaner can be used as an alternative to keep the cost down if cleaning your vehicle on a regular basis.

Shelby F150 Super Snake Sport: Gloss Enhancement

This absolute monster came to us the week before Anglesey Autofest for a detail before being exhibited on our stand. It’s safe to say, the owner of this vehicle isn’t shy of using it as it was intended, with a narrow lane leading up to the house and being a wide truck there were bush marks all along it’s side. We decided to give it some well deserved TLC and a minor paint correction & gloss enhancement was selected to get it looking it’s best.
