330e that couldn’t be plugged in, traced to actuator on top of the charging port wasn’t allowing the lock mechanism to retract to allow the charger in. Charging flap stripped, repaired and back to customer

F10 in a few weeks ago for intermitant no drive, traced fault to internal short in solenoids. Mechatronics removed and stripped, new genuine ZF solenoids and service kit fitted and away it goes. This repair is one of the times we will erase adaption values, usually on a normal service we don’t erase them as unless a proper drive cycle is carried out afterwards it can make the gearbox significantly worse on gear changes. All genuine ZF parts, in as a breakdown, sorted and back on the road in 3 days (parts coming from England now usually take 2 days)

M6 in last week for misfire and no warning light on…. car had to get a software update first as the complete fault table had been mapped out of DME, car was running like a dog and no faults originally stored at all, then after the update the cylinder 6 fault came into it. Found the culprit after moving a few things around

Two company cars up from ROI today, BMW service history updated online and in idrive, both keeping their full service history intact thus not devaluing the car when the company decides to trade them in. The 242 car is still under warranty and as we are VAT registered (unfortunately 🤦‍♂️🤮) this will also keep any manufacturers warranty intact aswell. Call for any fleet maintenance or repairs for the BMW/Mini group

Something we get calls about a lot is gearbox servicing, a few M Powered cars in over the last few weeks getting serviced, all using genuine ZF parts. First 3 pics is a F90 8HP auto box and next 5 is the bullet prof DCT in an E92 M3 getting done. The latter was getting the problematic side panel gasket replaced at the same time

G05 in today for a service, found front tension strut bushes badly split and transfer case jolting. Serviced with idrive AND BMW ONLINE updated, so no matter if car goes to dealership later down the line service history will still upload to car. Tension struts replaced and transfer case out rebuilt and refitted to car ready for customer to collect this evening. This wasn’t BMW/Mini’s finest hour in the engineering department ….plastic timing cover with the crank seal built into it. Profile seal go flat and hard (like most of the petrol profile seals) and then they start to “sweat power” 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Special tool needed to keep the crankshaft oil seal in place to be fitted over end of crank, torqued and washed off and this mini ready for another 40k miles
