Out this morning in the 6/110 and what a great way to start the day

last had one of these way back in 1992 when I was 20 on my first trip to New Zealand, it cost $650 back then and was a great car to tour the country (apart from fuel) until it blew a head gasket going up a mountain!
Ever since l've owned thousands of classic cars but always wanted another 6/110 more than anything but one never came up when I had enough money to buy one, today, 3 days after coming back from my 7 th trip to NZ I was offered this rather sad looking Auto mk2 1963 and spent most of days life in Jersey so not had a hard life.
She drives well and has a very solid never welded under side, new brakes and a nee oil and filter in the auto box so definitely worth putting a bit of time into to make her look a bit better inside and out.

The 1963 Wolseley 6/110 I bought today after 32 years of wanting one again she drives like a dream!

I met up with Classic French car Enthusiasts Francois and Jacques Cronje in Auckland the other day and after a spot of Breakfast they showed me there stunning cars ,the attention to detail and workmanship that has gone into these vehicles and the ingenuity shown is amazing and an absolute credit to the pair . Classic car tour of NZ day 2 ,
Took a look around classics Museum in Hamilton the Owner Tom Andrews and his second in command Greg McDell ( a very talented car restorer ) showed me round the Museum and the workshops out back including as many classic vehicles waiting to be displayed/restored , including a very specialil car they are currently restoring, it will be a work of art when they have completed it and worth the wait to see the finished vehicle

Day 1 of my quest to find as many car collections in New Zealand as possible from a single cool car to huge private hoards , I’ll be taking in some museums along the way and anything of interest along the way.
Peters daughter gave me a shout and told me about his huge collection of British and J*panese cars ranging from old wrecks to some beautiful Cars he has restored himself to an amazingly high standard.
There aren’t many people that can do everything from bodywork, painting,full engine rebuilding and fantastic interior restoration, Peter can do it all and really well too , a lovely guy met his family who were great too .
