🔧 WET BELT REPLACEMENT 🔧

Another wet belt job in the workshop, and a perfect example of what can happen when a belt starts to deteriorate! ⚠️

As you can see, the old wet belt has started to break down, with fragments of the belt material breaking away and contaminating the engine oil. Over time, this deterioration can lead to blocked oil pick-up strainers, restricted oil flow and, in the worst cases, serious engine damage or even complete engine failure. 😬

✅ The old belt removed
✅ Fragments and debris checked for
✅ New wet belt fitted
✅ Engine protection and peace of mind restored

Don’t wait until it’s too late! Regular servicing with the correct oil specification is essential for wet belt engines, and replacing the belt at the recommended interval can help prevent costly repairs down the line.

🔧🚗 FAULT FOUND – DAMAGED DPF! 🚗🔧

Another fault traced and diagnosed in the workshop!

On closer inspection of the photos, you can see that the internal filter element inside the DPF has broken down and dropped down, partially obstructing the low-pressure EGR system.

Damage like this can cause all sorts of running issues and fault codes, so it’s important to get to the root cause rather than simply replacing parts and hoping for the best!

✅ Fault traced to the source
✅ Internal DPF damage identified
✅ DPF debris restricting the low-pressure EGR passage

🔍 Proper diagnostics matter! Finding the actual cause of a fault can save time, money and unnecessary parts replacement.

🚨 CRACKED WET BELT!🚨

This one came in for a belt check and we found cracking on the wet belt. 😬

Caught in time before it had a chance to cause some serious engine damage.

This one came in with an ABS fault, which we traced to a damaged ABS pick-up ring caused by previous repair work.

Fault identified, repair carried out and the ABS system checked. ✅

Another one sorted and back on the road! 🚗💨
