Suddenly and unexpectedly, while out on his bike, on Saturday 29th June 2024, James Alistair MacMillan, known to all as Alistair, aged 76 years, Park Road, Ballachulish, (former owner of MacMillan Taxi’s and former driver for White Heather Coaches). A much loved cousin, a dearly loved relative and a very good neighbour and friend. Sadly missed.

Chisholm's Garage will be closed on Monday the 19th of September to allow our staff and customers pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

Our sincerest condolences are with King Charles III and all the royal family at this sad time.

We will reopen as usual on Tuesday the 20th of September at 8:30am.

Ballachulish Shinty Club are raising funds to get a defibrillator installed at their clubhouse. The team and committee members are going to running, cycling and walking 2000 miles to cover the distance of virtually visiting all other shinty clubs in Scotland.

Any donation would be gratefully appreciated by all at the Club

Without a doubt it’s been the strangest year yet, however I’d like to thank firstly all my boys for the hard work and effort they’ve put in this year. Also a huge thank you to all our customers who have supported us and followed our strict covid restrictions! It’s been a hard year and we have missed you all! Here’s to a better 2021 and light at the end of the tunnel!

Please be aware Your MOT certificate will not be extended if your vehicle’s MOT expires on or after the 1st of August 2020. You must book an MOT as usual.
