Over 4000+ miles.
Baildon to the furthest southern point of Tarifa in Spain 🇪🇸 back to Baildon in three fun filled weeks. VW Campervan Hire Baildon
1st night in Folkestone for an early EuroTunnel train then through France 🇫🇷 La Flèche - Rouen - La Rochelle - Bordeaux then across the Pyrenees via Pau. Through the ‘Col Du Pourtalet’ pass.
Down to Toledo 🇪🇸
Finally spending a week in San Luis de Sabinillas
We then had a full 4 days in Jerez de la Frontera at the Circuit of Jerez- Ángel Nieto for the last round of the World SBK Superbikes to see Toprak Razgatlıoğlu crowned as a three time World Champion before his move to MotoGP next year.
We restarted the return last Tuesday and working our way back via Valencia for a stay at the Caro Hotel.
Spending a day sightseeing. What a city. We will be back.
Then meandering up the heart of Spain via Non Toll roads, through Zaragoza and up through the Pyrenees for the last time. Bergerac was our next overnight.
You definitely see the heart of a country when you go off the main roads. Annabelle and I really enjoyed this trip so much.
Back to La Flèche then our final overnight in Calais at
‘Camping Le Courtil Rose’ a lovely clean site only 20 mins from the Le Shuttle
All in all 91:39 hours driving
4235 miles door to door
Average 40 MPG
Got to Bradford and an dick***d nearly took me out 😞😬
