1987 JAGUAR XJ S HE KWE RESTORED

This is an early HE model and has been cherished all its life with low mileage and a super history file with original books.

On the road, she belies her years and is so smooth and refined it reminds you that Jaguar built some fine innovative machines that were world beaters.

1987 JAGUAR XJ S HE KWE RESTORED

I have personal memories as my dad receiving his white one in 1975 and I can remember it being good looking but very poorly built with lots of mechanical defects from day one!

However, over the years Jaguar managed to develop the car to become a much more appealing grand touring machine and the HE model was a much improved and economical version of the original car whilst being much better built.

1987 JAGUAR XJ S HE KWE RESTORED

How could you replace the Superlative E Type and please the buyer safety experts and move into the 1970s.

The XJ S had big shoes to fill and by the mid-1970s although the E Type was looking dated it was still a desirable icon.

So early on at its launch in 1975, the XJ S was not very well received with many disliking its shape especially the rear buttresses and more contemporary looks.

2003 PORSCHE 996 C4S TIP

At the 996 launch, many traditionalists were displeased and missed the revered air-cooled cars.
The first cars were met with enthusiasm though and as always Porsche had planned and designed a great new model range.
By 2002 improvements were made to the 996 with more powerful engines, better quality interiors, and mild styling enhancements.

2006 PORSCHE BOXSTER 2.7

Along with the BMW Z3 and the Mercedes SLK the market in 1996 craved for lower cost niche sports cars to be added to their range of cars and so Porsche joined the bandwagon with the Boxster.
Without doubt, the Boxster was the best built and performing of this bunch but also the most expensive.
I remember them fetching £10000 over list price for the first three years with buyers desperate to beat the long waiting list and jump into the latest fashionable product.
By the time this example was registered in 2006 improvements and developments had been integrated into production meaning that they were amazingly reliable and the complete package.

1996 PORSCHE 993 C4 MANUAL

Some say the last of the true Porsches was the 993 ending production in 1998 and the final version of the famous air-cooled engine design.
These models were over engineered when profit margins were not the most important agenda for manufacturers.
This beautiful Polar silver example was UK supplied with air-con, black leather sports seats, sunroof and Cup alloys.
Also being a 1996 model it has the much improved and more powerful Varioram engine producing circa 285 bhp.

1970 LOTUS “ELAN GT”

Many motoring enthusiasts claim that the Elan is their favourite driving machine and any serious driver will agree once you sample the fluidity of the chassis the lightness of the controls and the evocative sound of the race-bred twin cam.
These are very special machines and have never been replicated with any modern design proving that Colin Chapman was a design genius.

1970 LOTUS “ELAN GT”

On the road, she is incredible retaining the balance and poise of this amazing design but with even more precision and long-distance ability with the long-legged, 5-speed gearbox and carefully tuned engine.
The standard of finish throughout is outstanding and detailing to a much-improved standard especially integrated into the build to offer reliability often lacking in standard 1970s Lotus cars.
All the work is documented and there are two thorough history files mostly populated with invoices from the UK’s respected Lotus specialists dating back to the 1970/80s  mot certificates, and thousands have been spent ensuring she is the best looking and driving Elan available, she was even featured in Classic and sports car magazine recently.

1970 LOTUS “ELAN GT”

The Elan was years ahead of the opposition and another masterpiece design by Colin Chapman, even today it is hard to find a better driving lightweight sports car.
This is a genuine home-market SE model that was first registered in Uk in 1970 and although in generally good condition it underwent a transformative upgraded restoration from 2017 to 2019.
Lotus never built a long-legged GT model capable of long-distance road trips as they were geared for acceleration so standard cars are very “busy ” at motorway speeds.
The brief for this build was to retain the basic qualities of the original Elan design but to enhance weaker areas well recognised and ultimately provide an Elan that could tour including European trips with the relaxing nature of a GT car.

1957 TRIUMPH TR3 SMALL MOUTH (BEST AVAILABLE)

Developed from the TR2 by 1958, the TR3 was a well-sorted sports car and incredibly popular around the world with its l***y engine and vintage feel chassis providing lots of fun.

This lovely example was built as a UK RHD, so is one of the rare surviving original RHD non-converted Lhd cars.
