With the weather due to be scorching today, to look after the team and make sure we’re always delivering our usual high-quality work, we’ve decided to close the workshop for the whole of today (Thursday).

We will be back to normal first thing tomorrow morning (Friday) once things have hopefully cooled down a bit.

Meet the Team: Will, Founder of Axminster Automotive 🔧✨

Will started this business as a one-man band, built on a reputation for being personable, trusted, and always willing to go the extra mile to help a customer.

The Evolution 📈
Since those solo days, things have moved forward. From 3 County Tyres to Axminster Automotive Ltd in 2024, Will has transformed the business. He’s invested in a modern workshop, high-spec facilities and tooling, ensuring our work is the best in the area.

The Reason People Keep Coming Back 🛠️
Even with new tech in place, Will’s core approach hasn't changed. He still believes in straightforward talk and taking the time to explain exactly what’s happening with your vehicle. Whether he's squeezing in an emergency repair or offering the kind of mechanical honesty you rarely find elsewhere, it’s high-quality workmanship from someone who truly cares.

A Future with Axminster Automotive 🤝
We are looking for a Senior Technician who shares these standards. If you’re a professional who takes pride in what you do, and wants to work in a well-invested, modern shop where your expertise is genuinely valued and respected - let's talk.

Professional Opportunity: Senior Technician | Axminster Automotive 🔧

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanic to join our independent team. We offer a high-standard professional environment for those who value technical competence and quality workmanship over corporate dealership targets or the frustrations of an under-invested workshop.

The Position:
💰 Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (DOE)
📅 Hours: Monday to Friday only (No weekends)
🛠️ Environment: A modern, well-equipped workshop in Millwey Rise

Why Axminster Automotive?
✨ Culture: We take pride in being a well-renowned, forward-thinking garage with a team that actually enjoys the trade. We’ve built a motivated, energetic environment where "can-do" attitudes are the standard.

🏎️ Variety: You'll handle an exceptionally varied workload—ranging from classic rural vehicles to high-end modern performance cars. No two days are the same here.

📈 Investment: We are constantly improving the workshop to ensure the best possible environment for our team. We invest heavily in the latest diagnostic technology, premium tooling, and high-spec equipment to support your expertise.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Proven Competence: Extensive experience in maintenance and complex repairs.
🔍 Diagnostic Skill: Ability to fault-find across a broad range of makes/models.
🤝 The Right Mindset: A proactive, team-first attitude and pride in your work.
🪪 Full UK Driving License.

🚀Future Growth:
We are looking for someone to grow with us. We offer opportunities for increasing responsibility and potential future shareholding for the right person.
