A behind the scenes from our development day… 📷
Four 996 lined up for the cameraman hanging out the back of the Dacia after the interesting bit had already happened out on the road.
and running our long term CGGT development dampers alongside M029 and M030 typical factory references.
Same roads, different drivers and plenty of opinions on what a really good road-going 996 should actually feel like.
The goal sounds simple: improve compliance for British roads and take away the harshness, without losing the character that makes a 996 a 996.
Reality, however, involves compromise.
Yesterday was all about working out what we can afford to compromise on, and what the driver(s) valued most.
We’d like to have our cake and eat it 🍰 but can we?
Developing solutions isn’t always straight forward - but we’re going to find out if we can put the icing on the cake.
Huge thanks to Adam Towler, Paul Stephens and Steve Bennett for the time, experience and honest feedback.
The testing continues - but the next steps are now a lot clearer…
