I love that Ford Rangers have allowed us owners, enthusiasts if you will, to make them into what ever we will, others might not like it and that’s ok, but whether you like to keep yours completely original, lift it, off road it, treat it as your pride and joy and a pavement princess or it’s a workshorse, a tool for a job, it’s all ok, just as long as it’s not electric! Right?

This stunning MS-RT Ford Ranger in for the PAC Tuning works, full diagnostic health check, ecu software update along with engine tuning a few other little software enhancements.

P2563 - “Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance.”

This could indicate an issue with the turbo actuator itself, which can be hard to get hold of indiviually, sometimes a complete turbo is required.

Did you know that this wiring loom is common to rubbing on the front engine casing bolt of the 3.2/2.2 causing the P2563 fault.

This gentleman got in touch having had his garage replace his turbo twice in the last 12 months with the above fault code intermittently causing issues.

Over the phone I asked him to check this and the images speak for themselves…..
