As today is Sussex Day, we earlier asked if you knew which of Sussex county's six historic subdivisions of Chichester, Arundel, Bramber, Lewes, Pevensey, and Hastings were a Sussex special edition model.

Paul Bennett was very quick off the mark with the answer of Arundel and guessed this exclusive special edition model name was designed by us and manufactured on separate occasions by Elddis and Lunar. It was however, for one year, also made for us by Coachman.

For those of you interested in its history, the Elddis Arundel first appeared 20 years ago, in our 2006 model year range, based on the Avante 556 and priced at £13,344 (plus delivery)!

In 2009, for one year only, the Coachman Arundel used the 6 berth Amara 560 rear fixed bunk layout.

Between 2011 and 2014, we designed the fixed bed Lunar Arundel Premier, based firstly on the Delta RS and then the Lexon 540.

Fast forward to 2018 and it was back to Elddis, this time as an 8' wide Arundel Premier, based on the Avante 860 with transverse end island bed

Over the years, the manufacturers may have changed but since 2011 the model layout has remained the same, as a fixed French bed with end washroom. Pictured here are a selection of their unique graphics, over the years.

Happy Sussex Day!
Here at the home of the Sussex special editions, we're proudly flying the traditional county flag of Sussex which features 6 gold martlets, a mythical bird, on a blue background.

The martlets represent our county's six historic subdivisions of Chichester, Arundel, Bramber, Lewes, Pevensey, and Hastings. Can you name which of those was a Sussex special edition model? This model was made for us by three caravan manufacturers over the years - bonus points if you can name them all!

Julian and Helen certainly like our Sussex Special editions!
In 2022 they bought a 22 Swift Findon Sport.
In 2024 they bought a 24 Swift Goodwood Sport and yesterday took delivery of their 2026 Coachman Kingsham VIP 575!
Which model will they choose in 2028?😜

Congratulations to Lee and Lynne who recently took delivery of their new camper. They're absolutely delighted” with their VW Transporter T7 model, having enjoyed several trips already, finding it "so practical and comfortable".

Having previously bought several caravans and a camper from our East site in Colestock Cross, the lure of an exclusive 'Sussex by Bespoke' camper was too strong to resist!

Over the past weekend, Jack O’Neill, Andy O’Neill, Mike Philippou and Owen Jenman competed on an international stage at Silverstone for the Rotax Racing finals team event, out of 37 teams with drivers from across the globe, the team managed to secure the overall victory! A superb effort by everyone involved, including Martin O’Neill assisting and managing the guys throughout the event! Well done guys!! 🏆🥇

Adam and his wife Fiona recently purchased a new Auto-Trail Expedition camper from us and the salesman was no other than Adam’s brother – Aaron (pictured right)!

Both Adam and Aaron are nephews of Colin Barton, who some of you may remember was a highly valued member of our sales team for 21 years. Colin has now retired and is busy enjoying his caravan. We’re delighted the Barton connection with Sussex Caravan & Motorhome is continuing and wish Adam and Fiona may happy holidays in their new camper.
