Summit different in the works for the next week or so.
You a Mustang. Looks nice mechanical isn’t so. Needs steering leaks fixed . Gearbox leaks fixed so it retains fluid and able to move. Found the hidden starter switch that bypasses the wafting switch . Many boxes of trinkets to fit but let’s do the sensible stuff first !!!

Les’ Splitty has been in for gearbox replacement . He sourced one and I’ve fitted and sorted all associated issues . New backing plates, brakes new shifter bushes , dealt with parts couldn’t get made gaskets the usual stuff engine had a service too but one of the plug leads had come off and driven a fair way so had got hot and now have a head blow to deal with . That’ll have to wait for another time tho

Refitted the get out of my way crash bar pointless leaving it on the garage wall cos im sure it’ll fall on me one day ...

Nice looking Splitty came in running on 3 cylinders driving awful. Raised rear suspension up after it has a red 9 suspension fitted up front .handbrake cables needed sorting as well as loose rear wheel studs. Serviced engine all the usual still wasn’t happy so took off nearside carb found not much of an inlet manifold gasket left and two block jets all corroded. Seems had been sitting and fuel gone crusty in carb . Cleaned and refitted sorted that. Front suspension had alignment check found bolt missing from a uj joint and after some fixing all back as it should b . Customer now has a nice running camper again , told him if not using for a while don’t put e10 in it without fuel stabiliser or just use e5 and start regular.
