🎄 Customer Win Just in Time for Christmas! 🎄

Just before Christmas, a customer brought their Audi Q7 to us with an exhaust valve fault. Audi only supply this valve as part of the entire catalytic converter assembly 😬 — a very expensive fix.

Instead of replacing the whole unit, we got to work:

🔍 Identified the exact faulty valve
🏭 Sourced the part directly from the original manufacturer
🔥 Professionally welded in the replacement

The result?

✅ Over £2,000 saved
✅ Car repaired properly
✅ Back on the road in time for Christmas 🎁🚗

This is what we love doing at Somerset Vehicle Services — finding smart, cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.

If you’ve been told “it only comes as a full assembly”, come and talk to us first! 👨‍🔧🔧

One small part could be the difference between smooth driving and costly breakdowns.

Your diesel fuel filter protects your diesel fuel system from contamination and water. If it’s ignored, performance drops and repair bills grow quickly.

This blog explains everything clearly — how the filter works, the risks of neglect, and why regular servicing is the smart choice.

🚘 Five weeks off the road, stuck in Park, and three warning lights glowing on the dash…

At SVS in Bridgwater, our technicians uncovered the P200A21 Mercedes fault code along with other hidden problems. After fitting new parts, coding, and updates, Mrs V’s Mercedes was running like new again.
