And another one just completed... 2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Fox engine (ecoboost without the boost) in for our wetbelt replacement package. Also found thermostat housing had a small coolant leak so new thermostat housing fitted as well.

2011 Ford transit in for a little rust repair on rear sill. Rust cut out, new rear sill section and lower arch piece fabricated and welded in. Finished off by being painted in correct colour.

2007 Citroen Berlingo 1.6hdi in for clutch replacement due to failed thrust bearing.

2019 Ford Ecosport 1.0 ecoboost having our popular wetbelt replacement carried out.

2018 ford fiesta ecoboost came in for diagnosis of a light engine knock under load / acceleration. We suspected either piston slap or big end bearing failure but needed to partially dis-assemble the engine to properly diagnose the cause. Upon removal of the sump pan the cause was obvious- part of a piston skirt broken off and sat in the sump pan causing the piston to rock in the cylinder bore causing the knocking noise. Engine removed, replacement engine sourced and fitted along with new full wetbelt kit & full service.

Another 2 Ford fiesta 1.0 ecoboosts in for wetbelt replacements. Very regular job for us now that so many of these are due replacement on age. Ford recommends 10 years or 100k - whichever comes first, although in reality 60k miles / 8 years is a more realistic advised change interval and most importantly regular oil changes.

2015 BMW 220i came in with a coolant leak from the engine. This was traced to the oil cooler / filter housing assembly which is located on the front of engine but not the easiest access. Upon removal is was clear that the seam had down out due to a failed seal retaining moulding. A new oil cooler assembly was fitted and problem solved.

2013 Vauxhall Zafira came in for a reconditioned gearbox due to severe bearing failure in original gearbox and replacement clutch kit.

2015 Ford fiesta ecoboost in for 'wetbelt' timing belt replacement. We do these very regularly and as usual full kit replaced including oil pump belt, waterpump and auxiliary belt, all oil strainer filters cleaned out along with all gaskets & seals etc.
