🐑🐄 Vet / Agriculture Student Lambing & Calving Placement – Isle of Arran, Scotland – March 2027

We have an opportunity available for a vet or agriculture student looking to gain hands-on lambing and calving experience in spring 2027.

📍 Isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland
📅 Lambing starts at the beginning of March 2027

We lamb indoors, with approximately:

* 400 Texel-cross ewes, put to Texel rams
* 300 Scottish Mule ewes

There will also be cattle calving at the same time, giving the successful student the opportunity to broaden their practical experience across both sheep and cattle.

This is a busy, hands-on system and would suit a veterinary or agriculture student keen to build practical experience and get involved in all aspects of lambing, calving, ewe and cow care, and newborn lamb and calf care.

A great opportunity to gain plenty of practical livestock experience while spending time on the beautiful Isle of Arran.
