Recently purchased and in excellent condition, this Mercedes A35 AMG came to us for our Three Year Ceramic Coating Package, with the customer wanting to focus on protecting the existing paintwork from the outset rather than undertaking unnecessary correction work.

With almost a full day dedicated to preparation alone, the exterior underwent an extensive decontamination process, including an acid shampoo and descale wash, iron fallout and tar removal, followed by a thorough clay bar. Three rounds of isopropyl alcohol preparation were then carried out to ensure the paintwork was properly cleansed and ready for the application of Angelwax Three Year Ceramic Coating.

The coating provides a durable protective layer designed to enhance gloss and colour depth, deliver excellent water repellency and help reduce the adhesion of everyday road grime and contaminants. This makes routine washing easier while helping to protect the finish against environmental contamination and the demands of everyday driving.

For a vehicle in this condition, protecting the paintwork from the outset is an excellent way to preserve its appearance, value and make long term maintenance more straightforward.

If you’re looking to protect your vehicle’s paintwork, get in touch to discuss our ceramic coating packages.

This Mini John Cooper Works is beginning its journey with us through our Initial Deep Clean Package, bringing the vehicle up to our maintenance standard before joining our ongoing maintenance plan.

The exterior received a thorough clean and decontamination before the paintwork, windows and wheels were protected with a ceramic infused sealant. This will be topped up at every maintenance visit to help maintain consistent protection and a great finish throughout the year.

Inside, all high contact areas including the steering wheel, dashboard and centre console, were thoroughly cleaned. The leather was cleaned and conditioned, the mats received a deep clean to remove embedded dirt and staining. A fresh fragrance was then applied to the carpets and mats to complete the finish.

Fresh back from a trip to the Nürburgring, this BMW M2 Competition arrived covered in road grime and fallout from both the track and the journey to and from Germany, particularly across the wheels and lower bodywork.

The owner grabbed a last minute cancellation slot and left us with one simple instruction: “Do whatever it needs.”

After a thorough assessment, the paintwork was found to be in near immaculate condition, so rather than carrying out unnecessary machine polishing, we opted for a hand applied paint cleansing polish to enhance the gloss, followed by a ceramic infused wax for protection. A glass coating was also applied to help improve visibility in wet weather, alongside a full interior valet to bring the cabin back to its best.

Are you a local garage or MOT tester?

AA Valet & Detail is looking to establish partnerships with local garages and MOT centres, offering £50 commission for every successful referral that results in a Lanoguard underbody protection package being booked.

Whether you’re identifying corrosion during an MOT, advising customers on underbody condition or recommending preventative protection, we provide a specialist service you can confidently refer your customers to.

Underbody's are the most overlooked part of a vehicle, often causing them to be ignored until it's too late. Road salt and grime takes hold and causing dangerous and often expensive repair bills.

Our process involves thorough underbody cleaning, removing accumulated dirt and contaminants before applying Lanoguard protection to help protect against corrosion. We take the time to access areas often overlooked by basic spray on treatments, delivering a more comprehensive service for the best possible protection.

This is an opportunity to provide your customers with a trusted specialist for their underbody protection needs while receiving £50 for each successful referral.

If you’re a garage owner or MOT tester interested in working with us, please get in touch to discuss setting up a referral partnership.

Salted roads. Wet weather. Exposed underbodies. You see the problem here?

Winter is one of the harshest times of the year for your vehicle’s underbody. Road salt, constant moisture and grime create the perfect conditions for corrosion to take hold, often in areas you rarely see until the damage is already done.

At AA Valet & Detail, our Lanoguard underbody protection package is designed to help protect your vehicle where it matters most.

We don’t simply spray over the dirt. Our process involves thoroughly cleaning the underbody, removing built up mud and contamination before applying Lanoguard to help protect vulnerable areas against the elements.

We also remove undertrays and wheel arch liners where required, allowing us to access subframes and inner wheel arches, areas particularly vulnerable to corrosion and often overlooked during basic applications.

Whether it’s your daily driver, work vehicle or a car you’re planning to keep for years to come, preventative protection now could save you a headache further down the line.

Just looking to have your vehicle’s underbody deep cleaned without the protection? We offer cleaning only packages too, ideal for removing built up dirt, mud and road contamination. Get in touch to discuss the options available for your vehicle.

As an official Lanoguard Application Centre, we take pride in doing the job properly, with the preparation and application your vehicle deserves.

Don’t wait until the worst of winter has arrived. Get in touch to discuss your vehicle and secure an appointment.

We're finally back on the road after over three weeks of hassle and borrowing a van to get around to our mobile jobs. We appreciate everyone that's worked around us in the meantime.

Straight back to it 🙏🏼

The owner of this brand new Ford Puma wanted to protect it properly from day one, and that’s exactly what we set out to do.

Despite being brand new, the vehicle had already picked up its fair share of marks and bonded contamination through transportation, storage and the dealership handover. Anyone familiar with the motor trade will know that “brand new” doesn’t always mean perfect.

This was a three day, labour intensive job, making it difficult to capture every stage, but we managed to get plenty of the process along the way.

The Puma received a full exterior clean and decontamination before the paintwork was given a minor machine polish. This removed a number of light marks and imperfections while giving us the cleanest possible surface for the ceramic coating.

We then applied a three year ceramic coating to the paintwork, with the wheels removed so we could coat both the front and rear faces for maximum protection.

The glass was also fully decontaminated before receiving its own coating, helping improve visibility in wet weather and making the glass easier to maintain.

The result is a brand new Ford Puma now wearing a seriously strong layer of protection, designed to fight against the elements while providing self cleaning properties, easier maintenance and helping the vehicle stay cleaner for longer.

Protection from day one, exactly how it should be.

Are you thinking about getting your vehicles underside protected? Don't make the same mistake Clive did.

This is Clive’s Vauxhall Insignia, which came to us for our underbody package with some added extras after he decided to keep the vehicle rather than upgrading.

What Clive didn’t quite realise was just how far we go with this type of work, until we sent him the video of the process before he came to collect the car.

When he arrived, he was genuinely blown away to see just how much of the vehicle we had stripped down to access the areas that are so often overlooked.

All of the undertrays and wheel arch liners were removed, allowing us to properly clean and prepare the areas underneath before any protection was applied.

Before moving down here, Clive had previously paid £200 elsewhere to have this work carried out on his other vehicle. For context, that was around half the price of our equivalent package, and there’s good reason for the difference.

The underside was given a quick spray over with Lanoguard - Underbody Rust Protection, with no real cleaning or preparation, and even the plastic arch liners were coated in the process.

That isn’t how we approach underbody protection. Or any package at all for that matter

Clive previously lived on a farm, so the underside of the Insignia had taken an absolute beating over the years. We carried out an extensive deep clean throughout the underside, removing years of accumulated dirt, mud and grime from the areas that could be accessed.

Once thoroughly cleaned and dried, the vehicle was lifted into the air and we applied two layers of Lanoguard underbody protection across all areas, with Lanoguard Moto Grease applied to the nuts, bolts and other areas requiring additional protection.

The difference isn’t simply in the product being applied. It’s in the preparation, the access, the time spent and the areas that are actually being treated.

While the vehicle was with us, we also cleaned throughout the engine bay, removing years of built-up dust and grime to leave everything looking considerably fresher.

The interior received a full valet too, bringing the whole vehicle back up to the standard we wanted before it left us.

And finally, whilst the Insignia was already in the air, we gave the brake calipers a fresh silver finish to complete the transformation.

This is exactly why we take the time to show our customers the process. The finished vehicle is only part of the job. It’s everything that happens underneath, behind and around the vehicle that makes the difference.

A quick booking update from AA Valet & Detail.

Firstly, a huge thank you to the customers who got in touch at short notice and filled our cancellations today. It genuinely makes a difference and we really appreciate it.

We are now fully booked through to the last week of October, and with the business continuing to grow, we’re making a small change to our booking policy from November onwards.

All new bookings will require a non refundable deposit to secure the appointment, with the exception of regular maintenance bookings.

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, we ask for a minimum of 72 hours notice. Where less than 72 hours notice is given, the original deposit will be retained and a new deposit will be required to secure another appointment.

Of course, we understand that sometimes things happen which are completely outside of your control. If weather conditions mean that your vehicle cannot be worked on or to our usual standard, the deposit will not be affected and we will simply rearrange the appointment.

The reason behind this change is straightforward. As we’ve become busier, last minute cancellations have a much bigger impact on the business. We’ve had a number of occasions this year where appointments have been cancelled with very little notice, leaving us with a space that we simply cannot fill.

I’m usually out of the house from the moment I wake up, working through the day with only the time between appointments to catch my breath. When I get home, that time is important to me and my family, so constantly having to spend evenings trying to fill last minute cancellations isn’t sustainable.

This isn’t aimed at any particular customer, and we completely appreciate that genuine circumstances do arise. It’s simply something we need to put in place as the business continues to get busier and appointment availability becomes more limited.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and understanding. We genuinely appreciate every booking, recommendation and returning customer.

Adam
