🛠️ YOU DO THE BUILD. WE DO THE INSTALL.

Want to get away in your own campervan but can’t justify — or simply can’t afford — the £30,000–£40,000+ cost of a full professional conversion?

At Blackburn Caravans, we’ve been listening to what people are saying. We hear time and time again that people would love to build their own van, but the cost of a complete conversion puts the dream out of reach.

We completely understand why professional conversions cost what they do. There’s a huge amount of skilled work, time and craftsmanship involved.

But we also believe there’s another way.

💡 Why pay someone to build everything when you can do some of it yourself?

Our idea is simple: you build the parts you want to build, and we take care of the important installations.

We specialise in:

⚡ 12V electrical installations
🔌 240V electrical installations
🔥 Gas installations
💧 Water installations

We DO NOT supply or fit furniture, kitchens or windows. That’s the part you can take care of yourself — giving you the freedom to design and build your van your way, while having the essential installations professionally completed.

The result? A much cheaper route to getting your van ready for adventures.

You could buy your van, choose your own furniture, build it at your own pace and add your own personal touch — without having to find tens of thousands of pounds for a complete conversion.

Because we don’t think owning a campervan should only be an option for people with £60,000 sitting in the bank.

You buy the van. You do the build. 🛠️
We do the installations.

If you’ve been putting off your conversion because of the cost, get in touch with Blackburn Caravans and let’s see what we can do.
