Are you looking for a manual driving instructor in Aberystwyth? If so I have a number of opportunities opening from next Monday.

I am looking for dedicated learners that want to commit to a weekly spot in my diary,
Unfortunately this opportunity won’t suit everyone so please read the following carefully.

▪️The spaces offered are a weekly slot which you need to be available for each week (with an amount of flexibility)

▪️Collection point is Aberystwyth Town Football club car park, Local collection within Aber, Penparcau, Llanbadarn & Waun Fawr is possible but must be agreed before booking in.

▪️Lessons are £40 an hour or £300 for 8 hours saving you £20.

▪️To confirm your place you will need to pay for your first lesson. (Typically 2 hours unless you have a reasonable amount of experience)

▪️ Lesson cancellations are charged if within 48 hours. This includes your first lesson which will need to be paid for to confirm your start date.

⚠️ If you have a test booked, Please make me aware as your test date needs to be realistic in line with the time available before hand ⚠️

10:30-12:30pm (2 hour) *Taken*

Wednesday
8-10am (2 hour) *taken*

8-9am (1 hour) *taken*

These spaces are on a first come first served basis and I will get back to everyone as soon as I can.

A massive congratulations to Sam today on passing his driving test on the first attempt with only 3 driver faults.

I am honestly going to miss this lad, it’s been a pleasure teaching him and privilege to help guide him to this moment 😁

Unfortunately for Sam, he can’t rid of me as I am regular where he works but I will be looking to fill his Monday afternoon slot from the 1st June 😉

The saying is “All good things come to those that wait” but unfortunately in this game it’s a case of “All good things come down to those that dig in deep and get with the program”

Joel very much did that, Super talented lad with loads of ability. We worked on harnessing that ability and giving him the confidence and coping mechanisms to be a safe driver way beyond his driving test.

Which all lead to today when he passed his driving test with only 2 faults and on his first attempt 💪🏼

This is such a great event for the area, Does it make it hard for me to work and do my job? Yep. Is that an issue for the greater good of the area? Nope.

Unfortunately June was going to be a restricted diary already, But I will be doing my best to keep the wheels turning and the learners, learning.

I find myself getting more and more enquires from learners that have test dates and want one or two hours before going for a test.

Unfortunately for those enquiries, Not only do we have professional standards with consequences to adhere to with the DVSA, But out of respect to our examiner and from my point of view my own professional standards. Only learners that I can truly say will be a safe driver going forward will ever see a test in my vehicle.

Please note how Danny talks about the 55%, Well like so many of Aber’s instructors mine is much higher at 86% and I most certainly aim to keep it that way :-)

My view is that It’s purely what people used to say to settle nerves and to make people feel better once they’ve failed.

In my opinion, All learners should just concentrate on being safe and competent learners and the test will look after its self 😁

From today, You can officially steer with your knees and eat using your hands whilst on your driving test.

A massive congratulations to Keiran on passing his driving test today on the first time of asking and with only 4 driver faults!!!! 🥳 (minors)

I’ve known Keiran for approx 8 years now as he was a regular back in my taxi days, So being apart of his pass today and the way that he passed was such a special moment and will add to his life in so many ways!

Can’t wait to see him on the road once he’s picked up his new wheels 👋🏻
