IMPORTANT NOTICE

We have some news we would like to share with you all. Garej M&J will be shutting its doors for the final time on 31st October 2022.
We are currently not taking on any new bookings in order to finish off all pre-booked work. A reminder that payments must be made on collection of vehicles.

Myself and Meirion would like to thank every single customer for their continued support throughout the years.

We look forward to a new chapter!

• 37.5 awr yr wythnos 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
• Cyfradd yr awr i'w thrafod yn y cyfweliad.
• Mae profiad o weithio yn y diwydiant moduron yn hanfodol ynghyd â thrwydded MOT Dosbarth IV dilys yn dymunol.

Dyletswyddau
• Ymgymryd â Phrofion MOT Dosbarth IV.
• Ymgymryd â gwasanaethu cerbydau fel mater o drefn.
• Diagnosio a gwneud atgyweiriadau cyffredinol i gerbydau gan gynnwys atgyweiriadau MOT.
• Cyfarch cwsmeriaid a gwneud iddynt deimlo bod croeso iddynt a phan fo angen:
i. casglu gwybodaeth gan gwsmeriaid fel manylion cyswllt, materion / symptomau gyda'u cerbydau yn cydymffurfio â deddfau diogelu data.

Job Description
• Light Vehicle Technician required for our MOT, service and repair garage.
• 37.5 hours per week 9:00am – 5:30pm.
• Hourly rate to be discussed upon interview.
• Experience of working within the motor industry is essential along with a valid Class IV MOT licence is desirable.

Duties
• Undertake Class IV MOT Tests if qualified.
• Undertake routine servicing of vehicles.
• Diagnose and undertake general repairs to vehicles including MOT repairs.
• Greet customers and make them feel welcome and when required:
i. gather information from customers such as contact details, issues/symptoms with their vehicles complying with data protection laws.
ii. Undertake any other duties as may be reasonable and which are compatible with the role.

Person Specification (E = Essential / D = Desirable)
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent/time served experience (E)
• A valid Class IV MOT testing licence. (D)
• A Full UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points. (E)
• Good attention to detail. (E)
• Experience in a professional workshop environment. (E)
• Ability to work as part of a team and by own initiative. (E)
• Good telephone manner and customer service experience. (D)
• Ability to deal with shifting priorities. (D)
• Ability to speak Welsh (D)

Happy New Year to you all, we are back open!

A polite reminder to all customers to please wear a face mask when entering the garage. There are signs up, please adhere this, we would like to keep everyone safe.

Payments will now also be taken from outside of the office to maintain social distancing rules.
