This time for Molly Roberts, who took her test today in Rhyl, and aced it first time.

Molly has practiced so hard, and totally deserve to pass.

🎉🎉 FIRST TIME PASS 🎉🎉

A massive congratulations today to Freya Mueller, who passed her test today, first time and with only 3 faults

Freya has been really keen to get this over the line, and took on board all the advice, and absolutely smashed it.

When overtaking, look for a reason not to - someone overtaking you, bends, junctions, or, I don’t know……oncoming cars!!

Thankfully I had already backed off as I had seen the tractor and anticipated some overtaking, but had I been going at the speed limit, this would have been serious!

A huge congratulations today to Jack MacDonald, for passing his driving test at the very first attempt, and with only 3 faults.

Jack had applied himself super diligently to the whole process, has never missed a lesson and is a great example of hard work paying off.

IMPORTANT DRIVING TEST UPDATE

From today (12 May 2026), only the learner taking the practical driving test can book, manage, change or swap their own test.

That means nobody else can legally do it for them:
• Not a driving instructor.
• Not a parent.
• Not a test finder app.
• Not someone offering to “find you a test”.

This is to resolve the issues with test availability, by stopping bots buying up tests in bulk and selling them on at inflated prices.

You will only be allowed to change your test twice. After that, it will need to be cancelled and rebooked (allow 10 working days as not to lose the fee).

Swapping tests with another learner is still possible, but it has to be done properly through DVSA by phone, and both learners need to be available at the same time.

A huge congratulations today to Pranaya Manandhar, who passed his driving test today in Rhyl, with only 3 faults.

A great drive by a really good driver. It’s very well deserved.

Today it was the turn of Nel Guest to pass her driving test, with only 3 driver faults. 🚗🚗

Sometimes, it’s just meant to be, and everything lined up perfectly, despite some random actions by other drivers that were designed to test. But Nel handled it all perfectly.

A great pass, well deserved. Congratulations and stay safe!!

🎉🎉 2 tests - 2 passes 🎉🎉

The 2nd pass was for Elleanor Pilling-Green, who secured an amazing first time pass today with with just 4 driver faults, despite really strong nerves.

Elleanor has worked so hard for this, putting in hours of practice with her dad, working on all the things that we’ve talked about.

I couldn’t be more pleased. Congratulations and stay safe.

🎉🎉 2 tests - 2 passes. 🎉🎉

The first of today was Abraham Carder. Abraham has been a true inspiration. It’s not been a quick process and it’s not been easy, but he’s persevered until he’s reached his goal.

It’s a really well deserved pass, and I couldn’t be happier for him.
