A step closer to getting this monster out on track! 🔥

The car was missing its front wings, so we decided to upgrade rather than replace. We've gone with a set of lightweight ABW fibreglass 22B-style wide wings, giving the car a more aggressive look while helping keep weight down.

The rear quarter panels are next on the list
, and the build is really starting to come together now.

Can't wait to see this thing where it belongs – on track. 🏁

RS3 in today for an induction kit and Stage 1 remap.
Before making any changes, we carried out a full datalogging session to ensure the car was healthy and to confirm it hadn't been previously tuned. The logs showed the vehicle was completely stock, giving us the perfect foundation to work from.
After fitting the induction kit and carrying out our custom Stage 1 calibration, the transformation was incredible. Sharper throttle response, increased power throughout the rev range, and a completely different driving experience.
Another happy customer leaving with a totally different beast! 🔥

VW Golf R in the workshop with a spun rod bearing, requiring a full engine replacement.

A few days of work ahead, but we'll have it back up and running in no time. Once completed, it'll be performing just as it should and ready to hit the road again.

Knockhill Mod Sports & Super Lap Scotland Round Up 🏁
The weekend started off Friday afternoon following on from Monday’s track night. We were trying a new set of Dunlop tyres but just couldn’t seem to break into the sub-minute laps. In the end I put it down to not being out on track since September last year!
Saturday morning I switched back onto the AO52s and headed out before qualifying. Still struggled a little to get comfortable, only just managing a few 59-second laps 🤔
Qualifying went much better though, securing 1st position. Race 1 got off to a great start and I managed to build a good gap and bring home the win 🏆
Race 2 didn’t go quite so smoothly. I left the door open early on and lost the position. I briefly managed to regain it, but ongoing gearbox issues and really fighting the gear changes meant I just couldn’t attack properly and eventually dropped back.
Race 3 was absolute chaos as the heavens opened and conditions became incredibly sketchy. From the start I made up around 3–4 places before the safety car came out. Unfortunately, with the spray, steamed-up windows and sheer concentration, I completely missed the safety car flags and overtook into 1st position before realising what was going on. Once the race restarted I managed to hold onto 1st for a few laps under huge pressure, but coming off the racing line into the chicane unsettled the car badly. After catching the rear 3 times I eventually ended up on the grass and into the gravel.
After watching nearly the whole field go past, I managed to get back on track and fight back several places before the race was red flagged. I still finished 1st in class, although points were deducted due to the safety car incident.
Super Lap Scotland went perfectly though — 1st in qualifying and 1st in the final with a 58.5 lap time 💪 I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better weekend overall. The car never let me down once again… apart from the alternator bolt deciding to fall out somewhere on track 😂 Easy fix thankfully!

Race 4 of the Mod Sports Championship 🏁
Definitely a much better result this time around! After missing qualifying last round due to a broken driveshaft and having to start from the back of the grid, it was always going to be difficult to fight through the traffic and make passes.

Today was a different story 👌 Qualified 1st in class, managed to make up 2 places overall and kept a strong gap throughout the race which secured the class win 🏆

Some more progress this weekend on the turbo EZ30-swapped Subaru Impreza WRX 🔥
Getting closer to finally seeing this thing back on the street and track.

At only 1100kg with 400HP and 500NM on low boost, this car will absolutely be a handful

The HKST51R setup sounds insane and the response already feels savage even on wastegate pressure 👌
Can’t wait to turn the boost up and really unleash it.
