Another Ecoboost repaired for the dreaded oil pressure light being on the dash..

This time it wasn't the belt deteriorating and clogging up the oil strainer, it was caused by ford's "new & improved" oil pump design self destructing leaving this engine with no oil pressure. Luckily for this customer he caught it in time and there was no internal engine damage caused, apart from destroying the Oil pump, oil pump belt and Turbo.

"The new oil pump design includes a tensioner for the oil pump drive belt, which helps to maintain optimal belt tension and prevent slippage or premature wear."😂

This was a 2018 vehicle with less than 30,000 miles & full service history.

I'm taking part in the Kiltwalk on the first of June, doing a group walk.

Firstly I'm looking for a Local charity aberdeen/shire based to donate to.
