Borrowed from a fellow technician. We've been fighting this misconception for too long now. A "plug in" or "code read & clear" doesn't fix your car, it's just deleting the evidence and it's the same as wiping away fingerprints from a crime scene but will cost you a lot more money in the long run. The warning lights are lit up for good reasons folks 🤓
