Rallye du Maroc (FIA, Challenger)

The winner of Stage 5 was Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari (Ta**us T3 Max) from Qatar. Charles Munster (Ta**us T3 Max) from Luxembourg was one of the fastest on the course today, but received a 4-minute penalty and finished Stage 5 as second. The winner of the race was Pau Navarro (Ta**us T3 Max) from Spain, who finished 2.5 minutes ahead of Argentinian Nicolás Cavigliasso (Ta**us T3 Max). As a result, Cavigliasso became the W2RC champion in the Challenger category, and Navarro became the vice-champion.

There was a big battle for third position between two Dutch riders. Puck Klaassen (GRally GECKO) finished third in Stage 5 today, which helped her overtake Paul Spierings on the final day and move up to third position in the race. This means that Klaassen has finished on the podium in two different races in two weeks – Baja Morocco (second in the SSV group, third overall) and Rallye du Maroc (third in the Challenger classification).

Rallye du Maroc, Stage 3 (FIA, Challenger)

Stage 3 was a complete disaster for the two leaders of the Challenger category. Saudian Yasir Seaidan (MMP Rally Raid) and Luxembourger Charles Munster (Ta**us T3 Max), who were in first and second positions in the race, were unable to finish today.

The new race leader became Spaniard Pau Navarro (Ta**us T3 Max) - with only a 73-second advantage over the world championship leader, Argentinian Nicolás Cavigliasso (Ta**us T3 Max).

Saudi Arabia's Dania Akeel (Ta**us T3 Max) won Stage 3, which helped her climb from 13th to 9th position in the overall Challenger category classification. Thus, for the second day in a row, a female driver has won the Stage in the Challenger group standings - yesterday it was the Dutchwoman Puck Klaassen (GRally GECKO) who achieved success. In addition, after three days, Klaassen has already climbed to third position in the race.

Prologue (FIA, Challenger)

In the T3 lightweight prototype classification, the crews from the Iberian Peninsula had the advantage in the prologue, taking the first three positions. The first two positions were taken by Spaniards Pau Navarro and Fidel Castillo in a Ta**us T3 Max. Portuguese Rui Carneiro finished third in a GRally OT3.

Interestingly, leader in the Challenger category also finished in the Top 10 overall standings - Navarro was sixth.
