Flamingo Rose belongs to Miami Nights.

Rose metallic body is inspired by the suspended Miami light that appears when sky and ocean begin to mirror each other. Azul dissolves into Rose. The horizon loses its edge. The water holds the color of the sky like a memory.

On the Runabout, Flamingo Rose gives the same geometry a different emotional charge. The rose body follows the fenders, rear deck and side volume with warmth and depth. The sea green beltline cuts through it with tropical contrast. The white lower body grounds the composition, while chrome brings back reflection and movement.

The vibe of Miami’s lifestyle, RIOCAM ® Flamingo Rose spec is warm, cinematic, emotional.

on Bertone, the Runabout, and the creation of the Miami Vice Limited Edition.

“I’ve always been a massive fan of Bertone. Nothing compares to the magic that happened when Marcello Gandini and Nuccio Bertone collaborated to create some of the most iconic cars ever designed.

When Bertone asked me to bring my Miami flavor to The Runabout, I knew it was the perfect Miami car.

I’ve always been inspired by *Miami Vice* and the colors of this incredible city where I grew up. Not only is it my favorite city in the world, but it has also shaped my style and influenced the colors in my photography.

For the Runabout in particular, I was inspired by one of my favorite Art Deco buildings on Ocean Drive. This car is filled with Art Deco references—it’s incredible how many design details connect back to that era.

Originally designed by Gandini in the 1970s and now back in production, this car is the perfect beach-chic sports car. What a treat it has been to be part of this project.

I’ve always tried to make my collaborations reflect the aesthetics of *Miami Vice*, and this project felt like the perfect opportunity to bring that vision to life.

The right car can hold the feeling of a city, the reflection of a sky, the attitude of a night, the memory of a drive.

With the Bertone Runabout, that idea became something real.

So I brought my world into it.”

Venetian Green is the daylight expression of the Runabout × RIOCAM ® Miami Edition.

Sea green body inspired by the Venetian Islands of Miami, where the city breaks into water, bridges, villas, palms and open sky. A place where architecture and ocean constantly reflect one another, and where color feels clean, tropical and precise.

On the Runabout, this atmosphere sharpens the car’s geometry. The sea green surface gives energy to the wedge without disturbing its purity. The white/rose upper body introduces architectural clarity. The white lower section reinforces the nautical base. Chrome details catch the light like polished metal against water.

A Limited Edition specification shaped by Riocam’s vision of Miami: reflection, movement and tropical aesthetics.

Grigio 1969.

A cool metallic grey rooted in the design culture of late-1960s Italy. Precise, architectural, and quietly futuristic, it evokes the elegance of prototype-era forms, brushed aluminium, smoked glass, and the calm confidence of design reduced to its essentials.

Inside, that technical clarity is met by warmth. Burnt orange, saddle tones, black, and ivory introduce a human counterpoint to the cool restraint of the exterior, shaping an interior that feels both crafted and alive. The result is not cold minimalism, but balance: mechanical precision on the outside, tactile emotion within.

Seen close to the landscape that echoes its nautical inspiration, the car reveals one of the deepest truths about design: that human ingenuity begins with emotion, and that form at its highest level is a way of making that emotion visible.

It is easy to imagine the scene. A sketchbook open. Calm light across the water. The quiet sound of waves meeting the shore. A moment of stillness so complete that thought becomes clear and vision begins to gather.

From that calm came the first gestures. Lines and strokes that would later define an icon. The wedge was conceived as shape, as sensation: cutting forward like a boat through still water, carrying with it lightness, clarity, and direction.

Rooted in simplicity, observation, balance, and the silent thrill of motion, the Runabout was felt first, then translated into form, so that the same serenity, freedom, and presence that inspired it could remain alive in the object itself.

As Nuccio Bertone would say, a car is the product of a feeling — or rather, a series of feelings.
